Well, was it really her idea to wear the headdress? I'm not making excuses, but just saying maybe it was someone's else's idea for the video, maybe the directors? Either way it's still wrong, but cultural appropriation wasn't exactly at the forefront of everybody's mind back when the vid came out like nowadays so maybe she didn't think anything wrong of it.

I do have a feeling at the end of the Elle mag it's gonna say something like "Del Rey's fifth album, 'Lust for Life' will be released May 26th." That would be perfect since the magazine comes out on the 16th. That's exactly 10 days. Also to back this up, Elle did say "to mark the release of her stunning new album" on their instagram. Also, I have a feeling she's not gonna reveal the full tracklist. Which I'm okay with because that leaves more of a surprise, but Itd be amazing if she reveals it as well because it builds up anticipation. I'm just all over the place

Well I was saying that so far we have 6 known tracks, 5 with titles. She usually does 14 tracks, but not always, so I was saying we can expect another 6 to 8. UV standard only had 11 songs.

I think it could still come out May 26th, so many sites had that posted.However, If we don't hear anything this week or maybe even next about a release date then it probably isn't the 26th, so we'll probably know if that's the case by the end of this week.

THANK YOU!! We can only do so much with streaming. If she isn't putting the effort in to be commercially successful, then that's on her and her team. But like you said, does it really matter? I'm here for the music too, which is always amazing.

Who are you talking to? Quote it next time. & Lana isn't about promoting her music, but that doesn't mean she has to leave her fans hangning. You think the "honeymoon" account was promo? Hell no, it was for the fans.

My problem isn't that we've only gotten one other song since February 18th or that this era is going so slow. It's that she just releases something and disappears for days or weeks. She'll post things on insta here and there but all unrelated to her work. Even though honeymoon was rushed & abandoned, it was still really nice how she started her own account and gave us little tidbits of information about the album and the producers etc. This album is just a big mystery right now. But in the end, I know the wait will be worth it because I know she's cooking up something amazing, I can just feel it. And for those of you who weren't that fond of LfL or Love, Think of this, on honeymoon all the best songs weren't released beforehand. I don't expect to hear the song with Stevie till the album drops because that how she'll hook more people into listening to it in full.

Yeah and she also said honeymoon would be "jazzy".... she says a lot of things but not for nothing, she isn't too far off that mark. I can respect the fact that it hasn't even been a full 2 years and she's already releasing another album. Some artists take up to 4 years at times.

I keep thinking about this but I doubt it because she said in an interview like a year ago that it wouldn't be a "surprise" when she drops it. I mean I could be taking her words out of context, but here's the vid anyways.

So true, I hope there's a song featuring Courtney. But that's all I want for collabs, since there's already 3 on the album, I hope we have a long tracklist.

The Stevie collab has breathed life into my NEED for this album again. At first I was a little skeptical of the direction she was going in, but now, I'm fairly certain this album will be her best.

I have a feeling since she's been quiet since the release of Lust for Life, maybe she'll release the video along with the preorder/tracklist since we've been waiting so long

You already know my poem is going to be saturated in Lana lyrics. But what songs do you think are her most poetic that I should incorporate because now that I'm looking through her discography, I can't decide. Only 2 songs

I know they're most likely fake lyrics, but I just find it funny that whenever lyrics leak, everyone on here is quick to call it trash or fake until they hear the song. Remember when the Honeymoon lyrics were revealed before the song was released? Shades of Cool as well? I just looked it up too and it nearly burned my eyes out
