So hard to pick only one, but I had to go with West Coast. That song will always have a special place in my heart, along with all of Ultraviolence. It helped me knowing that someone who I loved and looked up to's life could be as tragically beautiful as mine. It made me feel less alone.

I think the label usually chooses the single beforehand. However, if an album is released and one song in particular gains a lot of attention/traction then they can make that a single as well.

If the song flops and her career is "OVAH" does that mean your time on Lanaboards will be OVAH too?

I know this was briefly discussed, but do you guys still think Metroboomin produced something on the album? I would think so since he did post the cover. I hope so. I don't know how they'd sound together, but I know it would be amazing.

I see what you mean, I was the same way with Honeymoon and I still hope she gets the acknowledgement she deserves for the new album, she deserves way more attention than she receives. But people would rather listen to a song which ripped off TLC *Looks at Ed Sheerans "Shape of you"* or a song about riding "Dick bicycles". No shade, all tea. (I do like Ari somewhat and love nicki, but there's no denying they're both the perfect example of pop stars the label controls.

This is so true tho... People don't understand that a lot of the pop girls today are only super popular because they're super manufactured! In my opinion, the reason BTD was such a successful era is because her label was trying to make Lana into more of an image she wasn't. A lot of the radio artists today have songs produced by producers their label sets them up with, sings songs that their label has written for them, promote their albums and singles for them by having radio deals, etc. They do this with all the pop stars. I'd would soo much rather a genuine discography than radio hits.

You know, I really want the pre order also for the fact that I want to be able to look at the ACTUAL album cover when I listen to "Lust for Life" & "Love" I'm not usually a downer and I know that the single covers aren't really that important, But How much longer must I look at a quick - last minute single cover and basically just a picture of Lana and Abel standing in front of ugly stuff The "Love" single cover isn't too bad, I've just gotten tired of looking at it
