Born To Die is gold x5 in Germany : 500,000 copies !

I'm french but I'm not a big fan of our music... I only listen french bands and artists who sing in english, like Woodkid or Phoenix. And so last year my faves french albums were : "Hurry up We're Dreaming" of the electro band M83 : "Tetra" of the electro band C2C : "Alésia" of the indie rock band Housse de Racket : And "The FIght", of the folk band Lilly Wood & The Prick : This year I'm waiting for the albums of Phoenix, Kavinsky and Woodkid.

Happy birthday Born To Die ! => 509,000 copies sold in one year in US. GOLD. => 740,000 copies sold in one year in UK. PLATINUM x2. => 360,000 copies sold in one year in France. PLATINUM x3. And so 3,194,000 albums sold in one year in the world. Paradise EP : 155,000 copies sold in US in 10 weeks.

Lana has sold 492,535 albums in US so far : GOLDEN certification next week !

Update : Germany : Video Games is now certified Golden x3 => 450,000 copies sold + Summertime Sadness certified Platinum (or Goldenx2) : 300,000 copies sold.

I updated charts positions and certifications for Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Norway, New-Zealand, Nederlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, US and world. I need more time to get the others countries. I added Brazil and Europe certifications. I updated sales for UK/US/France & World. This last charts update has been made in December 9th. Born To Die 1st version + Paradise Edition are the same album in charts for some countries, and separated for others. I'll do the next update for the 1st birthday of the BTD album, in January 30th (with a post on lanadelreyfan website too). About the Paradise EP, I'll do the same later. I already know that 99,210 copies has been sold in US in 4 weeks, and around 150,000 in the world.

Forget David Guetta, Bob Sinclar or Martin Solveig : C2C is the best electro french band of the year. Mixing electro, pop, hip hop, folck & rock, The group won the Disco Mix Club World Team DJ Championship four years in a row (2003–2006). They released their 1st album "Tetra" this year, 2 months ago and became really famous here. If you like Daft Punk, you should listen this dope :

31,000 albums sold in the world last week : 2,267,000 in 34 weeks. Estimations confirmed by the Dailymail and french newspaper "Le Parisien" who said this week that she sold between 2,2 and 2,4 millions albums. I say that for people who trust fake numbers of music charts who said that she sold 2,800,000 albums... Numbers unreal and impossible actually.
