Okay full credit to the person who tweeted this.  I just thought it would make a fun, interesting game to make up what the clues would be.

Kill Kill: The song of how she fell for a man who killed and got executed, and it was his violent life that made her turn towards the same violence that inevitably got her killed

Dark Paradise: missing the guy on death row who she fell in love with

Songs like Kinda Outta Luck, Serial Killer and Live or Die show the reckless violent lifestyle she lived after that

Possible ways she died: Her past caught up with her, people wanting revenge for the ones she killed.

  • Shot in the head (Is This Happiness)
  • While overseas she was murdered (Salvatore)
  • She was executed on death row (Cherry, smiling when the firing squads against ya is kind of a messed up thing a murderer would do)
  • Overdose (heavy hitter)
  • Drowning (out with a bang, bentley, and also the Blue Jeans music video and Shades of Cool directors cut)

Maybe she was murdered by her sugar daddy?

Or maybe suicide? (Bentley, Pin Up Galore, Dark Paradise, one I’m forgettting)

Or maybe she was a prostitute and was killed by one of her clients (that’s been know to happen) (Ride mv, Carmem, G&M)

So it's common knowledge right that Lana Del Rey murdered May Jailer and Lizzy Grant by stabbing them with forks (For K pt1 & For K pt2)

So did someone get revenge on Lana Del Rey by stabbing her with a For K pt3 ???

blue eyes, and jazz, and attitude

she dies of marijuana overdose in HBTB

"all i wanted to do was get high by the beach, get high, baby baby, bye bye"

YOUR MIND!!! I love this thread

Fine China is her ghost preparing to attend her own funeral if you ask me

"On the same day my husband to be
Packed his things to run" - he killed her in anger and now he's trying to escape

"The earth shattered, the sky opened
The rain was fire but we were wooden" - failed attempt to enter heaven

She always had her gun with her, because she was scared she would be killed.

I wear my red lipstick, grab my coat and gun/ I got my cash and my Louis Vuitton, diamonds and guns

When I hit you in the back of the head with a gun

Fingertips in the shape of a gun

I'm not gonna let you pick up the gun

In Ultraviolence she tells us she had the gun of the person she was scared of.

Got your bible, got your gun

Got your gun, I've got my dad/ One gun on the table

With Honeymoon she tells the story that she was being chased, lost her gun in the fight and now has one in her new car.

There are guns that blaze around you

You're so Art Deco out on the floor, shining like gun metal

Got my new car and my gun

What’s this devotion? You really seem like a good man
Bodies or oceans, I cling to you like your mainland

Maybe Stoplight Delight is when she meets K. Maybe the mention of a woman having to be a killer is literal.

Or maybe she fell off of the black motorcycle.

Or maybe she was killed in a drug deal gone bad (Florida Kilos)

Or maybe she’s not dead, just disappeared (Swan Song). An ancestor of mine did that in the 40s.

Or maybe Tomorrow Never Came because she ran away from the terrible singer that is Sean Ono Lennon (not death but I thought it was funny)

WAIT I KNOW: she sang the body electric too much and got her body electrocuted

She is now in a dark paradise...

And she talks to Jesus (unreleased song of the same name), begging him to enter in heaven (Say yes to heaven, say yes to me...)...

But although she is born to die, she will  wait for her beau, in that dark paradise,  because when she gets to heaven, please let her bring her man....

Yeah he told his wife he was gonna by bread and was never heard from again. According to my great-great-aunt, his wife was haughty and conceited, so maybe that’s why he left

Wayamaya: Her killer must be called Ray since they changed their names and she got murdered in Waimea (Cove?) since she sings "never thought it would end". :hdu:

St. Tropez (Party Girl): But before they really met, he seemed to be a gangster?

Honeymoon: More evidence that he was a gangsta type: "there are violets in your eyes, there are guns that blaze around you" etc.

Miss America (Trash): Before the honeymoon, she might have taken his name? "Lana Ray, will you serve me lemonade?" So is the killer’s full name... Bill Ray?

Cruel World, Is This Happiness, Flipside: Her killer defenitely seemed to have a gun (and was maybe religious too?), he seemed to be aggressive too ("Are you gonna hurt me now?", "You like to rage, don't do that")

Art Deco: was popular in the 20's, gangsters were big in the 20's and he was "cold" and "ghetto"... maybe this murder happened longer ago than we thought!

I'm gonna stop here. :creep:

The songs that suggest a cult-related murder/suicide:

Ultraviolence:  her relationship with the cult leader

Freak music video:  him enticing her into expanding her mind,  like the cults initiation

Even Brooklyn Baby could suggest the cult was very music involved,  like Charles Manson began. And it could be about the same guy in Ultraviolence. Same with Groupie Love.

Heroin: related to the cult,  after her leader/love had died. Her deciding to leave the cult and all of her evil ways behind,  and the only way to do that is to die.

Get Free: Her freedom and letting go while she goes to heaven
