anwdelrey Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 So they're not gonna trend it despite 500k views in an hour because of the word Chemtrails. I'm sad. 3 Quote
Ultra Violet Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Honestly her walking through that glass is the most beautiful and powerful thing I've ever seen 5 Quote
#glimmeringdarling Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Ask yourself this how can one show they’re wild side without doing anything to harm them self or anyone else ? She bites the lemon because it’s so odd and off?? I find myself doing stupid shit like that deeming it the equivalent of biting my tongue because the wild wild world I used to know through hard drugs or street wandering youth was a threat to my well being.. those memories don’t just disappear over night .. as we know Lana’s been sober for a while now and the only revisit to intoxication nation for her is through sound and theme... which I absolutely love about this track... she’s gone for a classic mature sound but there’s still very high elements that bring a high because that my friends is the only way lana can feel her high .. obviously no ones opinion phases her.. this is her world. You can hear her contemplation of thoughts igniting the madness that once consumed her.. god if you imagine the things one can go through and still bring their art together this is what you get. This track is pure nostalgia for Lana and many of us.. also the video I love how it goes 180 visually representing the most crazy shit .. that’s but a feeling. That’s how these things feel.. 2 Quote
peachlipgloss Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 the visuals are stunning and the end of the song/video is SO lizzy grant 3 Quote
Trash Magic Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 The video was so good I need to watch it again. The sexy shower scenes fuck It's a side we haven't seen of her before. So many great beauty shots 6 Quote "It's 2011, and we should all be aware of exactly how fast technology is developing" - Lana Del Rey
Rico25 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 One of her best videos, she looks absolutely gorgeous and I hope she filmed another video with her blonde hair 0 Quote
lilithlana Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 some of the images in the video are super beautiful but as a whole it's underwhelming. I just don't care about her friends... 1 Quote
saith Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 It's absoloutly stunning, mesmerizing. Lana had us believe it was her worst visual era with the album's cover and drops this (plus the HMW album cover). Werewolf Lana is even better than the canceled witch era. Even with the teaser spoiling it I was still surprised of how it was treated. 1 Quote
AngelHeadedHipster Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Umm the Werewolf scenes would have worked so well with *Serene Queen*. This song is like "Still Water" and the first half of the video suits the song very well. This song is like *Yes To Heaven* mixed with *Venice Bitch* and has a very calm energy. The second half doesn't match this song at all. It just screams God's And Monsters, Body Electric, Serene Queen, Cherry Vibes. Her darker songs would fit like a glove with those visuals. 1 Quote
genghis khan Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 fyi the jokes about her mental health really aren't funny. More people than you expect have been in psychiatric facilities and medications and there's nothing wrong with that. But anyways. I'm really starting to think she actually was in an institution because it's a motif that she's been portraying a lot lately (the interview magazine thing, behind the iron gates of the institution). The idea of being at a country club reflects the idea a little bit as well (being contained in a privileged little bubble - away from regular society) 2 Quote
Crazy Husband Thief Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Lana’s middle name is Woolridge which means something like “strong wolf”. I think the inspiration for that came from her middle name. Wolves are herd animals, a white wolf is often considered as a loner. I think the meaning behind that is that she used to be a loner but she has now found her tribe. People who are like her and who she feels comfortable being around. 4 Quote

That’s how these things feel.. im an addict and I totally love how Lana constantly discusses feeling crazy even when you’re clean/sober, I find it really comforting. also I loved this video - by far the most exciting thing she’s done for years for me personally. I love when her vision is EXACT and fucking BIZARRE. That’s Lana at her best for me 3 Quote I have gold in my veins
Barry Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 It was annoying me for ages there and then I remembered the way she says "meet you for coffee" is the same as Eric Clapton says "and then she'll ask me" in the song Wonderful Tonight. I quite like it, LMLYLAW I thought was ok but I never really listened to it again but this song I like more the more I hear it. 2 Quote
TheCultureIsLit Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 At 5:00 in the video...visual representation of the "i stepped on a bird" haiku? 2 Quote
Ultradealerence Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 not sure if this is pointed out but the painting that lana painted in the start turns out to be the last painting on the wall before the video ends. and i wonder is this hers? or it just by another artist 2 Quote [Hold me, love me, touch me, honey, be the first who ever did]
