iirc she had mentioned track 8 was the one she was the one she wanted us to hear the most and Thatorchia was put in its place last minute so this must be that track! it's very light and warm compared to the rest of the ep, I wonder if the title references The Reflecting Skin like Amber Waves

 Vacillator video dropping in the am its the best song imo on the ep tbh aside from that i love this project just wish every song had vocals on it would have def had more impact to this project as whole cause some of the instrumentals are amazing

I really wonder why it was cut she could've put Thatorchia in between Perverts and punish imo especially since it was an all digital release there was no real reason to cut wellwater

I was talking about it with oomf cuz she could've even cut a few minutes of drones in Pulldrone to add it since its just 6m and the lenght would stay the same but I have a feeling she had a set of requirements for the ep and since it's already 9 songs and both of these were pure instrumentals she had to choose one

the distortion in the perverts intro sounds exactly like a phonograph and i'm obsessed with it. incredible album, truly. i don't dislike any song, so ranking it is super hard, but here's my current:

of course the song that's like televangelism's older, wise, and more traumatized sister would be my #1  I really love how dark the album starts and the progression to light, though it's hardly a happy ending. I've seen some people who are into drone music saying this barely counts as drone, but it's my first introduction to the genre and I like it a lot. Second half of housofpsychoticwomn actually creeped me out so much i had to turn my lights on lmao. really fantastic though. she's such an inspiration
