Hi-Res audio - what headphones/earbuds to use on a limited budget?

so i like feeling like im listening to master/studio quality songs (from Qobuz for example)

i also play a bunch of video games too

i need to replace my earbuds which are falling apart and i figure i should invest a little bit more than the cheap Earcandy earbuds

what earbuds/headphones should i get?

my primary headphones are the kraken x gaming headset by razer, the sound quality is really good for the price point which is anywhere between $30 and $50 usd! my backup pair are the pro-50 studio wired headphones by oneodio and are about the same price for similar sound quality

 

can't help with the earbuds tho bc my ears HATE them and refuse to keep them in

im the opposite, i HATE having anything sitting over my whole ears lgS AYEG;Hwb

ive been wearing a beanie hat all winter over the tips of my ears so maybe that will help change that glgs

Freebuds 4i sound just as good as a pair of Apple Airpods but way way way cheaper.

I use a pair of AKG K240 MKII Semi-open Pro Studio Headphones, goes for $165. There are still some good affordable AKGs in the $65 price range.
