If there are any for you, what are they and why can’t you listen to them anymore or not like you used to? 
 

Summer of 2013 (I think? or 2012), whenever Your Band Is All The Rage leaked, I found out my first ever boyfriend cheated on me and I was devastated. I had the song on repeat all day long for the rest of the summer. Now whenever I come across the song, on shuffle or something, I can’t really listen to it because it takes me back to a dark time. Not just the cheating but at that point in my life I was going through a great bout with depression/anxiety/isolation. So it just hits too hard for me.

I never cared for this one. It’s a nice song but I don’t find it too exciting.

Young And Beautiful. It’s truly such a beautiful song, I love the message, I would love to see it live. HOWEVER, I cannot stand listening to it after it was popularized there’s just something about it that I just can’t stand

I can't listen to chemtrails over the country club anymore while I still think it's the best song on the album. contrary to this I have no problems listening to e.g. tulsa jesus freak or dark but just a game on repeat, strange.

Arcadia came out on a bad day for me and ever since it’s been connected in my mind. Not that big of a loss tho since the song isn’t that good sksk

oof such a sore subject for me because i always tend to associate songs with people and places and times and when they're over i can't listen to these songs anymore  lana must be the only artist i've been listening to for so long consistently

 

the only exception might be cocc... it came out in a weird time for me. and when the three singles followed, text book almost helped me realize what was wrong and how to deal with it. knowing most of cocc was probably about sean and they've already broke up by the moment it came out, and it's probably the reason lana wanted to move on to another album so quickly... i was going through exactly the same and now i associate cocc with that feeling of trying to hold on to the old feelings and relationships when you know it's basically over, when bb on the contrary feels like a... liberation? ever since i fell out of love with you i fell back in love with me. 

 

i rly love the title track, wah, dbjag but i can hardly listen to them without thinking about it. hopefully i'll be able to reclaim them soon tho. me and lana's music have been through too much together  lmao sorry for the rant but i had to do it thank you for this thread

I love AKA but I don’t listen to it much bc of a date I went on when I was like 17 and I played the whole album like 3 times in order on the way there and back and now it gives me memories of that day.
