Unpopular opinion: I didn’t enjoy VB part that much. If I want to go to listen VB I would put the original. I would prefer Taco Truck to be a full song with its own outro.

after a few more listens to the album as a whole, I've come to really appreciate Paris, texas. It used to be at the bottom of my ranking, but atp, i can't even rank this album. This may grow to be my favorite from her. I really do love the vibe of HM, BB, and UV, and I don't feel that warmth from this record yet, but I'm sure I will feel it after a while with it.

the grammys put the submissions in whatever category they think the album belongs in though, so it won’t really matter what category they submit her into.

listening to candy necklace rn and i love how offbeat and flawed it is
it adds to that unsettling tone, and I think if it didn't have that, it would be a bit too boring for me

I put the album on and when Margaret came on and Jack started singing my cat looked up and gave this disgusted look in the direction of the music. Wish I had it on camera. She’s so funny. 
 

Anyways, I’m still processing everything but I love this album so much

Candy Necklace is so jazzy I feel like we haven't had a song like this since Honeymoon and it's so special   — I hope her next album is entirely with Jon Batiste tbh.

well merch and vinyl is more than likely handled by her team and not her. as for reviews, she’s happy people like it? that doesn’t mean that she cares when other people don’t.

 

also, have you ever made a single positive contribution to this thread? or do you simply exist here to take up space and run your mouth? i would say it’s getting old, but it’s been well past that point for months now.
