It’s such a complicated topic- To the US citizens on here the royal family do not really influence laws to a high degree as of the last 40 years- we are ruled by a pm and the royal family including the head is really just a image thing.That being said the king or queen does technically approve decisions but has no real power to deny them as demonstrated by them never doing it….

 

In regards to the monarchy I really do not care either way but the extreme lavishment of jewels and tax payer money for ceremonies should be rethought- they can continue to exist as royal kardashians but let’s museum the crowns etc which really are outdated and archaic.

 

Also we have richer individuals in our country committing  higher acts of tax fraud

To put it in perspective JK Rowling was richer than the queen by about 400 million

Harry is an annoying attention seeker but the fact that he had to wear a normal suit and get driven in a normal car while an actual paedophile got to fully participate encapsulates everything that is wrong with this family

And the wealth should've been distributed to all the countries that the British empire fucked over

And all the palaces converted into affordable social housing
