I'm sure many of you all know my real name already (as in a&w fake lyrics max taylor), but I am so so excited to start sharing my original songs with you! Since May 2023, I've started working on this album called "Stars Align." I really got into music production after I started making my Ivory Almond Mixes in GarageBand, and I decided I wanted to expand and start composing songs myself. The album is entirely instrumental (since I have no singing abilities at all). Other than two of the tracks, it is entirely composed, mixed, and mastered by only me using LogicPro (I decided I liked it after my trial ended iykyk). All the songs are inspired by unfinished poetry I've made, that I couldn't finish writing, so I instead turned into music to capture what the poems were about and how they each felt to me. This album is released on Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud, but please be aware that Apple Music has mistakenly combined my profile with another Max Taylor lol. So since my first album release, I've developed this mindset that I just have to release everything I create, because whether it's bad or good in people's eyes, it's still art that I've made, and I want it out for people to listen to just because of that. Just a quick timeline: during Fall 2023, I worked on my 2nd album, "The Wringer." I finished it by the end of the year, and then put it on hold because I wasn't as happy with it as I was with my first album. After that, I started working on the 3rd. I instantly fell in love with the project and I'm happy with every track on that album, "Loveless." But still, going by own rules, I have now released both albums, 23 songs in total, and over 1.5 hours of music. Once again, I use Logic Pro for all of my production, and I have also changed music distributors, so my music is now accessible on a much larger range of streaming services. "The Wringer" was still released on the wrong Max Taylor Apple Music profile, but they fixed it with the release of "Loveless." Spotify has all three of my albums under a correct profile, so use whichever way works for you best to listen to them.
