I saw a recent poll, over 58% of Americans still have a positive view on Israel. That’s down from near 70% last year, but it’s still not an issue that she should veer far too far away from.

Middle Eastern foreign policy is kind of a lose-lose for any American politician. The spectrum goes from police state to isolationism and both ends are arguably bad for world interests. There’s always going to be shit going on over there and I don’t think there’s any happy middle ground stance for America to take. 
 

(I’m not defending any side here, tbh)

 

All else being equal, I’d rather we not play policemen of the world, but completely isolating ourselves isn’t the best solution either. It’s a mess.

i feel like worldly matters such as wars in the middle east, russia VS ukraine, ETC are just so complicated and complex, there's just no simple or easy answer to any of it, and i think it's unfair to expect that from either candidate

That’s a decent drop but I am surprised it’s still that high. If the slaughtering of thousands of innocent citizens wasn’t enough, you’d think the billions we’re sending constantly would too. I know she’s trying to appeal to the voters in the middle so it makes sense, but one of the biggest reasons people on the left are dropping their support is because of that
