back in 2016 my cousins/brother who voted for Trump would tell me that when I’m older I’d understand why…now I’m older and still don’t understand. I did get my brother to vote for Biden in 2020 and Harris this year tho (he was freshly 18 and easily swayed by our cousins, and this year he lives in Texas so his vote matters more than our home state) [also mind you we come from a family of immigrants].

That was my experience in 2020 as well, I think it depends on the time of day you voted. I know my polling place starts getting more people after 5 though once people get off work

do you seriously not believe that how trump is, as a person, won't influence how he goes about running the country? and doesn't possibly point to his political views?

 

people have every right to be concerned about the fact that he was indicted for rape, was friends with jeffery epstein, has made abhorrent comments about his own daughters, ETC. 

 

also people voting for someone just simply because they're on one side is stupid, donald trump isn't the same as someone more conventional and perhaps tame, like mitt romney, right?
