They were! The trial was a hot ass mess, I don't get why he'd plead guilty when it was fairly likely he'd get off. :/

He must know the judge isn't going to give him too long a sentence though. A lot of people recently I think his sister, and Ralo yesterday said he's coming home soon. So they must have known he was planning this and they must know what the judge has said he will get.

 

Even for example if he was given 15 years he'd be released in about 4 years which isn't that long, considering he 100% had Big Nut killed and could have been looking at something like Lil Durk who will almost certainly never get out. He may just have realised he's in a really lucky position where he can get out soon as if the evidence for killing Big Nut and even shooting at Rich Homie Quan's dad was stronger then he'd have had no hope of getting out again.

Seems they have let him out, he was sentenced to 40 years but only to serve 5 with 15 years probation and the other 20 years suspended. Because he has already did more than half of 5 he's been released.

 

Great for him, although I doubt he will manage to survive 15 years of probation. Theres no chance he will not have guns with him and also he wouldn't be able to be around people like his brother and friends. Then again, maybe he will Gucci Mane used to be off the rails and wreckless and he was locked up for like 3 years and came out totally different, off drugs, doesn't even drink or nothing and is into health and never had one problem since even though he used to be arrested every week for about a decade before that lol

Crazy how he faced worse charges than YFN Lucci, was arrested after Lucci and is now released before him even though he plead guilty to worse crimes than Lucci.

Shows that the money for better lawyers does work.
