It’s not misheard but I always sing “sitting on the sopa feeling super suicidal”. Sopa is soup in Portuguese

Ultraviolence demo - "And I'll keep fighting for the right to make art of my lies." She is actually saying my life and not my lies, but I sing the misheard version because it sounds so much more poetic. In the sense she is saying she'll continue to make music even if the media is against her.

I remember when Doin' Time was released, I listened to it in YT and one of the fans posted the lyrics in the comments and they wrote wrong lyrics because they misheard the first line as "Summertime and eleven zz" 

 

Also when I heard Born To Die song for the first time in 2012, I believed for 5 years that the lyrics were: "Your lucky girls are insane"

 

And when I heard Love for the first time, I thought she sang: "Look at your kiss with your vintage music". And I cringed so hard and thought that girl's gone too far with her vintage obsession 

 

I also though that in Blue Banisters she sang: "There's a picture on the wall, of me and John Deere" (I thought that John Deere is an American writer or something, not a tractor )

When California came out I thought and heard she said: "I'll pick up all of your folks and all of your rolling stones", thinking that she would pick up his friends who are rolling stones-type people but I was surprised that she actually sang: "I'll pick up all of your Vogues and all of your Rolling Stones" and meant them as magazines, I felt kinda dumb then ngl
