We spend so much time inside our own minds that when we go to share that time with others, we often feel as if our words fall short of the truth they’re meant to bear. We over think, we press delete, and we discard what feels right out of fear. Fear which stems from our own insecurities, from what other people think, and from what we think of ourselves. But through all the unsent texts and words left unsaid, we’re expressing the most authentic parallel of ourselves, even if the message becomes lost amongst our anxieties. We must be able to take solace in being honest with ourselves, lest we forget who we are.
