i am in no way an audiophile and it may not be up to your standards but iTunes said it was in lossless now and i go by that standard because obviously we can't have everything in lossless but i tried

It upconverted them which makes the audio poorer quality than the original mp3 you used regardless of whether itunes said it was lossless. For someone who makes music/produces I'd honestly expect you to know something as fundamental as audio formats

well people expect a lot out of me and all i can do is learn and move on, i didn't know it did that and now i just learned something. i don't notice the difference and i assumed people would like the files as m4a's, i thought people liked those types of files, i do. i honestly don't hear a difference.
