i understand the complaints from obsessed Lana haters who are just looking to get a dig in at her at every chance they get, and the problem is not even that people might think henry is safe and predictable which isn't false, but i can't stand her fans saying that she is a "legacy artist whose new music can't compete with old". y'all just be saying shite at this point. 
 
she comes back to her safe and comfortable soundspace cause that's the next level sonic world she built and perfected over many years that no other artist can pull off. she makes it look so easy and effortless. but she can and does experiment and pull new tricks whenever she has that fire in her or has a new sentiment and story she wants to get across. that doesn't have to be every single time she puts out something new.
 
saying this song is predictable and safe is okay, but claiming she is "a legacy artist" who hasn't done anything new in the last 5 years is crazy, especially if you are a fan.
 
we all know she is a songwriter first and her lyrical prowess has reached new peaks with each release after NFR. do OLHs and even her fans know what kind of artist she is? she was making her folky ballads on her guitar literally with Sirens, it's almost disrespectful at this point to constantly want her to "switch it up" when she in fact did it with songs like peppers, fishtail, taco truck, tough etc. and her fans ship it back and call it cheap/basic or whatever. 
 
let her write her f*cking songs my god. go stan a pop girl if y'all want constant "reinvention" whatever that means. y'all know she can easily go work with a new producer and tell them give me something completely new, that's not this creative breakthrough y'all claim that it is. we all see what happens when some artists go too left field with their new albums and how they get shipped back and now they are going back to reheating their old nachos and singing about being 17 when they are pushing 40. lana didn't become the legend she is now cause she listened to what some ava max stan twitter homos has to say, thank god. absolute songwriting legends like fiona apple, kate bush etc. didn't become the type of artist they are because they constantly did something new. idk if we are confused about who lana is as an artist or stan twitter and tiktok rotted y'all brains. thankfully she refuses to listen to anyone and doesn't ruin her discography (even when there are misses every now and then, which is something with every artist, not exclusive to lana).

I think HAEDFY is such a great title that captures the whole album vibe and theme.. could probably be the BEST title in her discography. It's something that very much evokes the theme of the album and you can see in Henry, but also how she can sacrifice a lot for someone, but never anyone for her. This also could be a good parallel between TRPWS .

It's very likely. I can't imagine that she releases a MV for Henry next week and Bluebird as single without at the same time, except that Bluebird would be just a smaller song.
