ok , as a little side-project collab album it’s cute . If it was a proper solo sufjan album I’d be disappointed in it as a whole . I wish there was more unpredictability to it , more change-ups during the songs . but as i said it’s just a lil side-project , and for what it is there’s still a few songs on it i liked enough to add to playlists , like Lost in the World and It’s Your Own Body and Mind .

 

Murder and Crime and Cimmerion Shade are also nice

he says that even tho he usually always has about 3 albums in mind that he’s always recording stuff for, he’s likely going to be taking a break from releasing ,

Remembering how prolific Sufjan was last year, with those five or so albums I literally couldn't care less about.  

I was still reeling from Sugar which dominated and nothing really from A Beginner's Mind could live up to, but I really want to revisit it. Hopefully it clicks a little more subsequently? 

This main piano melody is still haunting me daily also

Love this album. It's my favorite since "The age of Adz".

My favorite songs are Goodbye Evergreen and My red little fox. I love the richness of his sound.
