This isn't just about you so apologies, but I don't know why everyone's so fussy about re-recordings or reworks, especially when it comes to aka, we all know if whe were to release it or any unreleased for that matter it would be in the vision she always wanted it to be if she's unhappy with it.

Re-recording ≠ bad or not perfect.

I'm aware and dw! For example with a song like Pawn Shop the main appeal imo is her delivery and the kitchy production and while i do appreciate the Paradise version of Yayo, it doesn't really do the original justice.

talking about pawn shop blues, i loved the music video chuck made for it in 2017. i'd love to see similar vibes for any music video this era!

I'm pretty sure TNBAR was always gonna sound like that if it was on LFL .

 

And while I agree not every song needs a rerecording, i think everyone needs to accept if she's gonna put pawn shop blues on trpws or even release aka in its entirety I would expect a rework or rerecord for those.

i don’t think i’m even against re-releases because of any reason other than (selfishly) i feel like they’re so special when you have to find other means of listening to them, idk, it’s more personal. obviously it’s not down to me though and lana can release whatever she wants and many AKA songs would be beautiful and well deserving on this record
