Lana Del Rey announces next single ‘Bluebird’ - Out next week!

Let’s explore a couple of reasons why the reel has disappeared:

- it means absolutely nothing, there’s no « hidden message here » 

- she got her weeks mixed up, it’s coming up the week of Stagecoach.

- she didn’t want to be criticized on her appearance maybe? 
- Henry is doing surprisingly well in terms of streaming. Plus it seems we’re getting a MV for it. Maybe her label wants to let it breathe a little before releasing a second single (although I don’t know why a second single could « harm » her, I mean streaming numbers are streaming numbers, it’s still the damn artist in the end.  Plus it might even revive Henry’s numbers a bit, with a second single) 

- Bluebird will be released with the album preorder and her label / website is not ready yet. Again, she would have blurred a « date » without running it with her label first. Unlikely but not impossible.

My theory is either smth has changed with blue bird/album release or she mixed up dates/some other info and decided to delete it.

 

It also looked like she wanted to say something else but video was cut off. And she also said "there are a lot things I wanna tell you, but it's not time yet", so mb she will record another video telling us everything she wanted. Or we will just get info gradually with another singles releases/album pre-order/tour announcement or whatever she wanted to tell us

Maybe she wanted to post a story or something but the video was too long for that and chose to post a temporary video. Instagram stories chop videos and as a reel it's smoother. She likes to do those mini announcements and stuff with those vintage filters in stories.

True! And all her second singles (VB, COCC, A&W) end up being more acclaimed than the first ones. Which is interesting because Henry, come on is her most acclaimed lead in years. Could miss Bluebird meet our already pretty high expectations? 

 

On the other hand, I feel that Lana has picked these two specific songs to release before Stagecoach so that she get to perform them live there, so they may be "atypical" choices (for example, I won't be surprised if Bluebird is similar to Henry, or if it's a shorter track with a more immediate country flair, so that the Stagecoach crowd get to vibe with it, who knows). 

 

Anyway, I love this simple but very evocative title!

The fact that Taylor was discovered at the Bluebird Café in Nashville ... wasn't there a rumor about another collab with Lana?  But Kacey is also possible, as she worked closely with Luke.

tbh i personally think the only reason she deleted the video is probably because she got sick of all the discourse surrounding her accent and appearance - i don't really use social media but i do go on reddit sometimes and oh boyyyyy they were being very brutal about her voice and face on there  so i doubt the deletion has anything to do with bluebird not coming next week or any other adverse reason!

i fell for it too because I thought Lana captioned the photo with that.. and I thought it was weirdly worded for Lana.. then I realised
