  1. not me crying real tears listening to Janet Jackson’s song “Let’s Wait Awhile” thanks to this thread… btw Baby is incredible & clearly Babygirl’s sluttier sister. THE PRODUCTION QUIRK SIMILARITIES …. if u know u know…. As a babygirl stan, i am so happy
  2. my favorite comment on this video: “that hip hop on the lappy was BANGIN”
  3. EVERYTHING IS EVERYTHING…. IS EVERYTHING!!!! when the song started i was like why isn’t her EP playing anymore?? hew iz diz new girl??? ….. i would love for her to explore this more upbeat techno inspiration.. it’s giving Alice Deejay and i’m so here for it
  4. it sounds like 70s/80s porno music.. she snapped
  5. WITHOUT LOVE PREY PINNED BENEATH LIMBS LOVE IS VIOLENCE NATURAL SELECTION WITCH HUNT BABY TEETH FORGIVENESS EVERYBODY ELSE FAIR GAME THE HUNTED BLOOD OATH SUFFER & SWALLOW SUFFER IN PEACE ANIMOSITY WHITE LIES SLEEP IT OFF I TRUSTED YOU SORROW ENDS THE ALTAR sorry if that took up a lot of space on the page.. I'm too old to remember how using a spoiler works on here. anyway I'm really pleased with my tracklist!! it helped me appreciate some of the less standout songs on the album. I feel like the EP songs are mostly stronger than what we got with the album.. white lies is probably her best song. I really love the flow of the last 5 songs together. also I'm annoyed bc her song Sleep It Off was "album only" on iTunes, so I had to spend like $10 for one song basically.
  6. Everybody Else is the best new song for sure, but I Trusted You is still my favorite overall.. the album is too short though!! I’m gonna add the EP in there and figure out my own track list.
  7. Anyways i sent a PM in the mod chat & asked for extra opinions. If we collectively feel like it should be locked at least until album release, maybe we’ll do that. I personally think RESPECTFUL & open discussion is healthy, but if y’all can’t keep it cute we will probably lock it for a little. Don’t take that as an opportunity to be hateful to someone just because you hate Kim & want the thread locked btw. I’ve overlooked a few ugly comments but will gladly give out WP’s for any vulgar insults from here on out x
  8. i’m also a mod I guess if people can’t stop being hateful to each other here then maybe the thread should be locked for a little while. But there is no reason to close discussion unless it really gets out of hand. I just don’t understand why some people can’t walk away from their phones or computers instead of leaving hateful comments.
  9. All of this!! What gets me is that you can share the same beliefs as someone else, but if you don’t express them in the same exact way, your character is put into question & all sorts of disgusting insults directed at you are apparently OK. The first few years of lanaboards wasn’t like this, people could disagree (or even just share different perspectives of the same opinion) and actually have a respectful conversation about it. Not anymore unfortunately.
  10. i’m not mad at anyone here lol all i did was give my opinion and suddenly i’m a rape apologist. when honestly i agree with most of the points you made in your post & some others here. the problem I had is the way some people immediately start insulting other users for not agreeing 100% or still enjoying the music. that’s all.
  11. Up & Down was produced by Danny. It’s far superior imo.
  12. way to completely miss my point lmao yep guess i’m a rape apologist for not wanting to “cancel” Kim over a business relationship that i know nothing about. do i think she should continue working with him?? no. am i putting money in dr puke’s pockets by illegally downloading kim’s songs?? no. cancel culture doesn’t work. whether or not Kim comes to her senses & stops working with him, she’ll continue her career. all this outrage has done is bring more attention & streams to the EP.
  13. you gotta listen to Number 1 Angel next!! it’s perfect from start to finish
  14. exactly.. point being no one will ever know 100% of the way it works behind the scenes. people read one article / interview and grab their pitchforks.
  15. I understand and respect your opinion. I don’t disagree when it comes to people calling her out for trying to sweep his behavior under the rug. She would have been better off not answering the question at all in that interview. I just notice people jumping at the opportunity to chime in with hateful remarks (whether it’s here, twitter, or insta) and that’s what annoys me. i’ve just noticed this behavior in the majority of artist threads here lately whether or not it is warranted. People have become so comfortable with being rude to anyone that doesn’t share their exact sentiments. Even if there’s common ground, it’s like nobody can have a respectful conversation anymore. LMAO comments like this are exactly what i’m talking about. Like streaming a song makes someone rotted disgusting shit apparently. Whatever makes you feel superior i guess.
  16. The most amazing person & prolific songwriter there ever was..
  17. 24 Hours… one of the best songs of all time
  18. if y’all held everyone in your personal lives to the same standards that you hold celebrities then you’d have very few (if any) people in your life. it just blows my mind how people act like they know a celebrity personally to the point where they insult them for being associated with a bad person. like what does complaining online actually do to make a difference?? & no i’m not referring to the people who comment on these things from a place of legitimate concern / education, but the swarm of gays that hop on a bandwagon of hate for the sake of expelling their own nastiness & negativity. trans women in pop music are virtually nonexistent & I just don’t see the point in spitting venom at Kim for seizing good business / career opportunities. yes her interview about dr puke was tone deaf, but you really can’t deny internet culture’s obsession with hating on any and every woman in pop music under the guise of morality. the way some of you seize the opportunity to jump on the bandwagon and trash her (and other pop girls) over some irrelevant mess… if it wasn’t Kim, dr puke would still be collecting checks from his past major hits or another girl (like doja cat)….. anyway like i said yes her interview was tone deaf and stupid but do not come at me about supporting rapists just because i don’t want to burn someone at the stake for being associated with one.
  19. only a true OG would acknowledge the XCXELLENCE that is Do It Well… wish we got a HQ leak in stereo
  20. I’M SO HAPPY I’VE BEEN MISSING HER SO MUCH
  21. YES it’s BOP AFTER BOP idk why everyone has a stick up their ass about this EP. honestly Malibu & Future Starts Now were not exciting at all. Coconuts was cute for a minute.. but Slut Pop is giving slutty TOTL and i’m living for it!!! Treat me like a slut & Throat goat are my faves. The gargling in throat goat has me dying
  22. I think it’s really interesting how people hold celebrities to a standard that they don’t hold for themselves. She really has been working her ass off and all the average twitter fan (and some people here) can do is complain. The way people behave behind a screen is so disgusting honestly… ANYWAY - so excited for Beg for You music video tomorrow!!
  23. wow everyone hates her all of a sudden it’s just pop music y’all i do agree the quality has dipped but i’ll never complain over a fun slutty anthem. the way some of y’all are like “her career is over” as if she’ll never release anything after this EP.. lol
  24. “You are scum, Jamie Lynn.” the way i GASPED
  25. I know the topic is songs within an album.. but the 1-2-3 punch of Born to Die - Paradise - Ultraviolence… music will never peak like that again.
