Anyway back to me being disappointed that Charli hasn’t spoken up in support of Britney… it’s just bizarre & it doesn’t make any sense. How are you gonna name her as your #1 inspiration for years, mention her in so many interviews, yet not speak up in support of her during these moments where her case is all over the media?… Like if I could ask Charli ANYTHING it would be that…

She’s literally never not delivered excellent pop music so I don’t know why some of you are worried.. I’m here for a concept album. The pop star selling her soul idea sounds really promising & something she could very easily deliver.

The c-ship will finally be over this year, I can feel it. I hope she manages to sue her father. He belongs in prison.

Aside from the best OG seasons 2-6, I think US seasons 9, 11, & 12 are all really great seasons. All Stars 2 & UK 2 are some of the best seasons of the show period! Canada’s drag race was pretty great too aside from the judges panel.

I’m loving All Stars 6 so far! It’s so refreshing to watch an all stars season where you really don’t know who the winner will be in the first couple of episodes.

How to disappear is one of her best songs ever periodT. The greatest is overrated and one of my least faves on NFR. I really tried to like it but I’m not hearing what everyone else is.. don’t like the Kanye or livestream lyrics especially.

I’ll never get over this album… full of timeless classics. Officially over 400 weeks on the Billboard Top 200. I’m listening to it in full to celebrate, and after all these years it’s still such a unique & beautiful, stunning debut album. I can’t get over it. Shout out to another OG member… & thanks for so many amazing album covers & photo edits over the years! I’m probably still using some of them in my iTunes. It truly was a beautiful time on the internet, discovering her mysterious persona & searching the depths of mp3 websites for random unreleased songs. I honestly have BTD (the song / music video + the album) to thank for changing my life in regards to this site… I’ve never been a very big fan of regular social media sites, but in this little online community I have always felt so comfortable & at home. I remember doing tinychat parties & all sorts of small events here with the tiny lil community we used to be in the early stages of her career. The hype of BTD being released at that time when we knew so little about Lana.. can never be recreated and I’m so grateful to have been apart of this site since the beginning.

It’s so crazy how such a good Charli song can be ruined by a different vocalist & 1 or 2 changed lyrics... looking at you Rita & Bella Thorne. Charli just has that IT factor.

i hear you - and in a way I completely agree with you - I just feel like this isn’t a subject that Charli would be so far removed from. If she’d never mentioned Britney then I wouldn’t expect her to say anything. But the way she’s consistently named Britney as one of her favorite artists & inspirations has me really confused as to why she hasn’t spoken up for Britney during this very pivotal moment in her life regarding the conservatorship. For the first time in YEARS, Britney has directly spoken to the court regarding what has been happening to her. It’s disturbing and appalling the things she has gone through at the hands of her own father. So I’m truly at a loss for why Charli hasn’t said anything in support of one of her supposed favorite artists during this time. I’m sure it’s obvious that Charli is my number 1 favorite artist the way I’ve posted on this forum, and that’s not going to change - but I’m also not incapable of criticizing behavior of any artist I love - and I just can’t comprehend why Charli wouldn’t say anything in support of Britney at this time. If Justin Timberlake & Christina can show their support for Britney, why can’t Charli?.... it just hurts my heart because Britney is one of my favorite artists and absolutely shaped my life in a similar way that Charli has claimed for herself as well. Charli has spoken up on many POC & LGBT+ issues, so it just baffles me that she wouldn’t speak up in support of Britney.

I don’t think Charli ever actually met Britney, just pitched some songs to her team that never made the cut. So I don’t really see how there would be an NDA involved, but who knows... either way, how hard is it to make a #FreeBritney tweet? Charli has always praised her as one of the best artists of all time, saying Britney is the reason she wanted to be a pop star as a child. It just makes no sense to me how she could stay silent about what Britney is going through...

It may be dumb but it’s really been bothering me that Charli hasn’t said anything in support of Britney during this time...... Charli has always been a huge fan of Britney & it just doesn’t make sense to me that she would say nothing. Charli has always been good about using her platform to bring attention to important issues, so I just don’t understand why she hasn’t said anything about Britney’s c-ship yet. Hopefully she will soon.

I really loved Roanoke as a full season. I think it starts to pickup about halfway through.. it’s one of my favorite seasons after Asylum & Murder House.
