It’s prob my 2nd or 3rd favorite overall but I still stand by AKA being her number one best album... the QUALITY throughout is unmatched... there’s really no skips. Lizzy was on some next level ethereal shit in that trailer park y’all.

Of the new songs... best chorus: wildflower best vocals: blue banisters best overall: text book i think text book has the most going for it with the production, vocals, & lyrics combined. Wildflower has the strongest build of the songs with the powerful final chorus.. but those muffled drums leave something to be desired. I think if they’d done the drums like in American or Black Beauty, it would sound so much better than the cheap sounding compressed mess we got. Blue Banisters has the prettiest vocals & the most quintessentially depressing Lana vibe that I love. It definitely has the most defined atmosphere of the three if that makes sense. I really like these songs, they’re all very solid... but I don’t see them being my favorites when the album drops. I’m sure I’ll appreciate them more in the context of the full album, but I usually favor the deep cuts in each album so I’m looking forward to see how the full project will turn out.

We already have 3 songs, so at LEAST 13-15 tracks total would be ideal... eras like NFR where half the album is out by the time of release kind of ruins the full experience for me. I’m hoping for at least 9-10 new tracks by the time we get the album.

While I definitely enjoyed these singles, I’m really hoping there’s some more melodically driven songs on this album. I miss the strong melodies & harmonies from BTD / UV.... I don’t necessarily need her to return to that subject matter, but I just hope every song isn’t written as one long poem.

Alice is boring, Rain on Me is cute but basic. 911 is good but the chorus is way too repetitive. I literally don’t even remember what Enigma sounds like. Babylon is the only one that can sit with the pretty girls from the first 3 albums. Also I said nothing about Joanne anyway so idk what that last bit was about. The interludes for chromatica are honestly better than most of the actual songs with lyrics.
