I had this totally weird dream about Lana a long time ago I just had to share: It was just before Tropico came out, so I guess my subconsciousness was working with it when I was sleeping. I dreamt I was at her concert, and she had the whole tropico team going on. She was wearing an organic looking bikini while she was grinding onstage, flower crown and all. Then suddenly I find myself backstage with her. She's sitting in this industrial looking chair... I am all star struck, and dumbly say that all her merch is going to sell out if I stay with her for too long. Then she gets out of her chair and says "don't worry, honey" and slide open the wall, revealing a rack with cigarettes. She hands me a package, and I look at the box. She had designed her own brand of cigarettes It was brown, like old paper, and on the box was a picture of her Tropico poster. But the cigarettes was called Tropical, not tropico, and before I can take a smoke Barrie appears and drags me with him. I cry because I have to leave Lana, I remember being seriously choked up. Then Barrie and I leave the room, enter a bathroom, and then we have fucking sex in the shower! Me and Barrie! And it was getting seriously hot too Then I wake up and go all "wtf" and I seriously want a smoke, even if I only smoke when I'm going out.

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but... I always liked Lanaboards because people didn't act like complete assholes here compared to other forums, and I feel like in the last few months people have been PMSing all over this place, and it's not a nice development. If you enter a forum or any webpage at all with the intention of making others feel bad about their opinions or thoughts then go away. I just don't understand why some people feel the need to come across as superior dicks when they get their point across. "Haha, you don't have as much knowledge as I do. Example: I don't want a fucking rant about quantum physics by my teacher if I mistakingly think 1+1=3, get it? Tell me, inform me, teach me basic math, it can even help me. But I won't take it to heart if you're leering at me in the process. Honestly, the only valid reason for roasting people on this forum is if they're being racist/homophobic/internett trolls or if they spell it Lana Del Ray. DONE.

I actually agree. I don't want her to become May Jailer again, and Born to Die and Paradise is what I associate Lana Del Rey with. As much as I love the leaks, it's in the past, and I hope she wont change her sound too much.

Ugh, I know right? People say that twilight and 50 shades of grey and whatnot are so romantic, but in my opinion they are really just about how a mindless woman is in this abusive relationship with a controlling guy. Would they take the same shit from an unattractive dude? I think not. Idk, I think people shy away from writing about Lana because she already writes her own story through her music. But man it would be so cool if someone wrote about her rebellious teenage years or her trailer park days, it would have so much potential in the hands of a talented writer.

I have read a bunch of "all human" twilight fanfiction (the origin of 50 shades of grey, I actually read parts of it online before it was published), and some of them are seriously kinky

I completely agree, I love the way you describe it! AKA, Born to Die, Paradise - hell, even Sirens, you can all tell they came from Lana just by listening to the lyrics. Even if she has developed herself as an artist, you can still hear and see that she hasn't completely gone away from that "thing" she started out with.

I have nightmares about Lana entering that thread, no joke
