this movie continues to get attention, praise and is winning awards since its first screening in January last year. most "criticism" or people calling out the movie on various things is literally reaching and completely missing what this movie is about.

but wasn't this like.. actually sampled in the demo, it was literally them using the same audio file. then they went all out to re record it completely and basically remake the instrumental themselves both versions weren't released tho bc they're all pre btd AAANd they were demos she can sample whatever she wants in her unreleased demos she just needs permission to release it.

Can we also appreciate how heartbreaking the vimini storyline is. I love her i kinda understand that there's too many side characters that would crowd the movie and viminis storyline would kinda need some more time to actually work in the movie especially bc the movie cuts off before .... tears are rolling.

Yes i wouldnt rush myself into reading the book @expandableclittyclit. I read it within a day but it was a quiet and peaceful day. I reread parts of it on an airplane and I just cried my eyes out while i tried to stare out of the window so no one could see me it was messy but the book is just very emotional for me. I mean it had parts where it's like apricot, apricot, apricock, apricock but it's still very touchy and relatable. This movie and book made me crave for some alone time in Italy or some other anonymous place where u can just focus on urself for some time and be at peace with yourself, I didn't have that in ages now and everything is just so tense and I can't even do any work properly bc my attention span is literally not longer than 4-8 minutes. I wonder how I got through the book and movie so many times within the last few weeks tbh I guess bc it kinda creates the illusion of u having that time for urself. At least it does for me.

it actually wasn't considering her statement wasn't messy and there were articles about it already, even NME already reported on it before lana tweeted. she had every right to give a short statement inbefore she gets thrown under the bus and labelled as the one who wasn't willing to settle for sharing the royalties or crediting them before it got public and went to court.

Nnn no that's not what that means. Lana's team offering them 40% is not admitting guilt it's trying to settle it outside of court which is perfectly legal and the court is not going to see it as anything else but lanas team trying to find a quicker solution to this problem. It literally happens with most cases and will most likely benefit lana bc they're gonna see that Radiofad dismissed a generous offer and went full on 100% copyright claim which is absolutely ridiculous. It also has nothing to do with the trademark thing bc they're suing Sam smith for fucking 12.5% and not 100% despite it literally being the same issue as here.

YESSS it came full cycle. The first time lb don't work for me was when I tried to reply to ur post @me about the sequel before I even watched the movie and now it started working again now that I've seen the movie.I doo hope the sequel is good. I don't trust whatever the directors saying he voiced like 265 different ideas I feel. Him having a 4 hrs movie kinda makes me think that they miiight have already filmed some stuff that could be put into the sequel but we don't know and we won't know until they start shooting the sequel and go on promo tour again. Him having ideas for 4 sequels probably means he has a lot of ideas and thinks this setting is great for a continuation of the story but not that he really wants to make it Harry Potter Pt II. I'm still an emotional wreck after that ending

Ommmmg I just got back home. I'm shook. The whole theatre was shook. Everyone was So quiet as soon as the Sony classics logo appeared on screen. The movie is beautiful. I feel like the story was told in such a personal way through the perspective of elio. They really managed to capture the essence of his story telling. When the movie ended and the lights came on no one talked. It was dead silence while everyone was walking out. I'm so happy I stan talent. Also gonna watch the movie again tomorrow
