    All this newbie discussion reminded me when I joined this site a year ago and how fuckng broken it was. Permanent tropico profile pics, having to create an account through twitter cuz the verification email didn't come through despite trying multiple times, and an admin who I didn't know was the admin because they didn't do anything that would suggest otherwise. Ya new kids who've joined after Elle became the new admin have had it good.

    Anyways, who ever wrote that tracklist didn't even care for believability. No way would there ever be a Nicki x Lana song and even though I adore both of those ladies, they would not work well together in a song at all. What I really despise about that list however is that it actually made me wanna hear how a Lana and lil uzi vert collab would sound like  :pft:

    I've been thinking the whole day how much I wanna hear 13 Beaches (mainly cuz her vague description of it seemed intriguing) and now I come here and see how desperate everyone became as soon as someone jokingly said that they have it. Looks like these next 2 months are going to be really really long now, aren't they?  :sadcore3: 

    Thankfully we still have Love  :beyonce:

    Her vocals for KROQ were really fantastic but then seemed to get way worse for the BBC concert. I wonder if she didn't warm up properly. I know that some of it was the microphones/sound engineer but still....

     

    Really, though, I don't understand why she wasn't that good in the BtD era. She had her moments I loved, and prior to her fame as Lizzy she was gorgeous, but in the BtD era she sounded like she was choking on air half the time. Huh

    She's a really shy person. I'm sure her vocals were really shaky because of all the attention and bad press she received during that era causing her to be extremely nervous when going on a stage. Her Lizzy era vocals were great because she didn't have that big of an audience to impress at a time.

    Every song on her debut, except for Be the One, has her on the credits

    To be fair, she easily could've altered a couple of lyrics and leave it at that (not saying she didn't write her own lyrics, just saying that the writing credits may be deceiving in some cases).

    You can only move 1 point per turn. Touch It should have 30 since you only took one from that to give it to Leave Me Lonely. Knew Better / Forever Boy and Sometimes are both down by 1 point while Dangerous Woman is up by 1 point and Everyday is up by 2 points.

    With some of these songs you completely missed the message depicted in them and instead forced your own interpretation on them. For example, in Coachella, the married guy she mentions is Father John Misty who is her friend and he isn't even the most relevant part of the song.

    Y'all are expecting her to perform songs that she clearly wants nothing to do with because of their association with her exes and...

     

     

    it's not gonna happen.

     

     

    I feel like if she could, she'd just erase Ultraviolence from her discography the way she did AKA.

    She could easily just not sing any UV songs live like she doesn't sing any HM songs live.

    Some insane dude who would create accounts just to talk on the allie x thread. The arguments between him and some other dude (chase i think?) got so serious that he ddos'd lanaboards for like a couple of days. After lanaboards was brought back up the old allie x thread was locked and deleted for a while before someone went ahead and made a new thread couple of months afterwards.

    why is Computer Boy on itunes as "Poppy" but all her other songs are still "That Poppy" like how annoying she's split up as 2 artists in my apple music now :rip:

    Because she left her previous record label under which she was That Poppy and because of that rift she had to change the name to just Poppy. It's also why she posted the Computer Boy music video on her Youtube channel "Poppy" instead of her Vevo channel "ThatPoppy".

    Shit like this is why I avoid this thread like a plague. Every time I see this thread there's always tens to hundreds of new pages which are mostly filled with the most meaningless petty arguments like this one. Calm the fuck down y'all, the date isn't even that far away if you fill the time inbetween with other activities besides obsessing over lana.
