  1. this seems unpopular--i'm actually enjoying this era! (i mean, despite her refusal to give us a clear release date, which is driving me crazy.)

i've been into lana since born to die came out and have been on lanaboards almost as long (under a different username then) so i've experienced every era in real time, but i have to say that i'm more obsessed than ever. i know a lot of fans are losing interest or are frustrated with lana, but this era is solid gold compared to honeymoon and even UV. this is the first time lana has been content and at peace with everything and it makes all the difference. i know UV is legendary now but experiencing that era was not enjoyable. i remember we got a plethora of magazine interviews but they were mostly worrying and disappointing. lana came off as ungrateful and immature and said regrettable things that embarrassed me as a fan. now her outlook has changed and it is very welcome. i feel like all this time i've been waiting for this side of lana to come alive, for her to stop focusing on the negativity that fame brought her and to instead use it to be a force of good. i'm happy she has decided to do just that, in her own lana way.

I agree. The visuals this era have also been really strong compared to HM's which mostly consisted of recycled UV music video clips. So far this era has been a lot more enjoyable than the last one.

  2. Why is the date being withhold? It's obvious at this point that they have one and and Lana's been saying soon for fucking forever now so it would make sense for them to get over with the date and move on to album countdown. Are they trying to hype up the release of the release date itself?

  3. altar, american kids, adored, everybody wants to be poppy and lowlife were near perfect pop- what the hell happened? i'm poppy was dull as hell and computer boy sounds near unlistenable. not excited for this album anymore, yikes

I'm guessing the first album was when they were going for the "Poppy's your typical popstar" route, and then somewhere inbetween Bubblebath and this album they decided to switch for "Poppy's an entity on the internet" sorta thing.

  4. "We could go back to New York,

    Loving you is really hard

We could go back to the start,

Where they don't know who we are"

I thought she was still together with the guy in the song and that she wished to go back to the beginning of the relationship and basically start over or something because she loved him so much.

Thought I'd post this here too. Looks like the band is rehearsing for the upcoming shows. Her drummer posted this: "deep in the heart of Lana Del Rey rehearsals"

Her dancers Ashley & Alex are also together rehearsing. Ashely posted this Instagram story captioned "found the props" as she holds the fans used on stage during 'High by the Beach'

Alex also posted a story with the fans. She also shared a video story of Ashley practicing last year's choreography to 'Off to the Races'
