Yes she was mistreated. Her performance on SNL was completely blown out of proportion. Yes we all agree it wasn't her best performance and many people felt that she was unfairly given the opportunity as only the second artist to be on SNL without having a recored released. Just bad timing. More people are watching SNL in January and because Harry Potter was the host it was a high-profile show.
 
She does get unfairly criticized because she got some help from her father, but parents do stuff like that for their kids all the time. Sure she came from some money, but there are lots of parents who bankroll athletic careers. Look at the parents of tennis players, and gymnasts and ice skaters. They don't get criticized and some of them come from money.
 
Lana is not a crybaby. If she's having more success in Europe now then that is where you go. I suspect she'll go to Asia as well. I don't think she hates America. Far from it. Being an American is what sells her in Europe.
 
America is the country of second chances. If Britney Spears can be get a second chance then Lana can also. Her music is good and she is a good person. She would easily sell out a smaller/club venue tour in the US. She sold over 500,000 records in the US. Lana may never be a top 40 radio phenom, but she can sell millions of records in the US during a career.
 
I really wish she would tour the US. I think she would see that thousands of us across the country would come to see her and she would have a successful tour. We don't expect her to sell out Joe Louis Arena or Madison Square Garden, but she would sell out small to medium-sized venues.

I feel like in a way the US critics were treating her poorly but I also feel like she was/is being overly dramatic about it. There are celebrities who get treated WORSE than her and they aren't holding a grudge against an entire country because of it.

First of all hell yes I want to meet Lana!
I would love to meet her.
Hopefully she comes to Chicago sometime soon, and then I'd just stay after to meet her or go really early if its a weekend concert. That'd be sweet!! I'd give her a letter and a portrait and call it a day. Oh and get a picture of her kissing me or something that would be perfect haha.
 
Now...who knows how/when this will actually happen!

i definitely think americans deserve a tour because its not just about how big she is here who cares about that, no one is expecting her to play thousands+++ crowds. she can just do a modest tour and i feel like she may; rather i hope she does.

I have absolutely no idea why LDR hasnt announced any 2013 Australian dates so far since she sold great all dates she had there this year. Each interview she had after the Australian shows, Lana seemed very happy & touched w/ how nice the people there responded to her. The same goes with Singapore w/ good feedback from both Lana and fans.
 
Now as far as the lack of 2013 shows in the U.S., it's really frustrating that nothing has been announced. Like in Australia, Lana sold out venues & even had tons of people eager to even get a glimpse of her outside of each show. Lines of people all around the buildings, waiting outside in the cold/ rain, ect ect.... I know for damn sure Lana knows of all the loyal fans she has in the US because I spoke to plenty all throughtout her show's in Cali & NYC (some she occasionally still messages </3 ).
 
The demand for Lana is high all around the world, I am fully aware, but the fact that she can so easily disregard a loving fanbase, no matter from what country, is so hurtful to those that have been cheering her on all throughout 2011/ 2012. This grudge she's been holding against American's simply bc of some lousy journalists is awful. She needs to lighten up and realize ALL artists get shitty reviews but what should overshadow that is fans (who would willingly spend some money just to see her ungrateful ass).
