Hi, honeys! So a few people on twitter kept saying "release Cherry video" and this was the main motivation to try to do this thing lol. This is...not exactly my first time messing with editing, but I did my best this time...   I based on Lana's posts about Cherry on insta and also posts I saw from a few fans (editings, memes about Cherry). I finished Cult before Apocalypse started. I personally enjoyed. I think is better than Hotel.   My least favorites are Coven and Hotel. Coven is kinda boring sometimes and Hotel..... Hotel...... I don't know what to say about it.     

I don't know if I can trust Chuck or Lana with this project. I'm too traumatized with the bunch of things they scrapped. 

You all don't have a heart, omg!   I cried for fuckin' sake! Especially when she sang "yeah my life is what I'm fighting for".        If you're waiting deep lyrics from her, you should know better, honey! And it's not always about the lyrics. Feelings make songs deep too, no matter if they are expressed in simple words, voice or instrumental. I say this to Lana, to Avril, to everyone. 

Don't know if it's unpopular, but I must say that the instrumental of Lust For Life is def one of her best. And, at least on instagram, I saw that Tomorrow Never Came and Change were underrated. They're my favorite songs from LFL, along with Heroin.     

Venice Bitch is without a doubt the best thing she has ever put out. I had to come out of hibernation just to say it. Holy fuck it is perfect.

Relatable

If you mean her own paintings yes omgf, I would LOVE booklet with handwriting by her, plus she has a beautiful writing. Kinda like No Mythologies To Follow or Joanne, something very personal and that feels dare I say "crafty", which would fit the vibe of the song.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A while ago I read Woolgathering by Patti Smith and I ADORED it. I highly recommend it to everyone. Point is VB specifically sounds like that book. It's the exact same nostalgic vibe and I'm sure Lana would be pleased by the comparison if it wasn't on purpose

Also LFL barely had any location shots, all it had was some weird ass gas station (which i liked) but it was pretty random. I hope this era she includes a lot of artwork and location shots in the booklet, maybe taking inspiration from Norman himself?

I remember when I used to imagine what a Lana and Marina song would sound like. I thought their voices together would sound like the chorus of Angels Forever. For the lyrics, I would like to imagine it would be some kind of battle between happiness and sadness, don't know. I feel like this is random, sorry hehe

Gosh, I started to cry in Black Beauty. Everything was beautiful! Amazing show to start the tour! I think she'll eventually make a few more changes on the setlist!

I never thought about each album, but I remember I felt like I was in Bolivia when I listened to Flipside for the first few times. It had a winter and christmas feeling attached to it too.
