  1. I'm really glad that I became a fan in the Honeymoon era. Even tho the songs didn't get me at first sight, I knew it was a very beautiful album. I didn't hear so much as the rest of her stuff, but Honeymoon was the one I liked to look for it the most: I used to read the lyrics all the time and always admire the whole aesthetic around of it (photoshoot, album trailer, honeymoon account :flutter: ). Part of this was probably, not just because I loved all of that, but also because this album brought me a little light. You know, I :) love BTD and UV, their beats and guitars exalted such a fire and rush feeling that it would be impossible to not fall in love with them. But Honeymoon had this peaceful, bright aura towards of it that I was really needing in my life at the time it came out. That's why it will always have a special place in my heart and I will always be thankful for Lana have made this beautiful masterpiece. My favorite song used to be God Knows I Tried, but nowdays I don't really have one (I can't decide anymore! Everything it's so good! :icant: Even Art Deco has your own little glow, I admit. :fact: ). Oh! I also like to think that it's Lana in her most "Lana Del Rey" persona :P .

Now that it comes LDR5! I'm sure that it will be as amazing as Honeymoon and I'll love it just like the rest of her art! :justride2:

  2. I def felt the fashion impact at the time she came, especially because I found her on the fashion section of a site I used to read. I remember that everyone was wearing weird clothes that nowdays I think it was influenced by Lady Gaga? (Correct me if I'm wrong, please  :creep: ) And then I saw Lana for the first time and I felt kind of happy to see that she was wearing a normal dress and hair and make-up  :toofunny: (I'm sorry, I didn't like so much of those stuff. Everything seemed exaggerated  :um3: ). I didn't really notice the flower crown (Even tho one of the first articles that I read that mentioned Lana was about the flower crown being the new trend photo.jpg ), just when I started to look for more alternative/indie or whatever music that I saw it was very popular. Nowdays I can also feel the impact on mainstream: everyone seems more...I don't know exactly the word, "alt" maybe? (Again, correct me if I'm wrong. :toofunny: ). Whenever I see a tv show, a movie, book too, I kind of feel a influence there, but this may be just my fan head already speaking  :P . I always wonder how the next generation will look like, who will be the next pioneer (or he/she/they is/are already between us?  :raven: )...

  3. My second favorite from Born to Die!  :icant: I heard this song for the first time at the middle of the night, I was doing a research in a website when they started to play BTD. I usually pause the song, but how I was getting into her at the time and the song had already started, I decided to let them play. And holy shit, I'm glad I did this! I was hearing the lyrics, the melody and I really liked, but the climax was in "Come and take a walk on the wild side, let me kiss you hard in the pouring rain. You like your girls insane" :flutter: . The second verse simply blew my mind too! This gem brought me such a feeling and inspiration that I immediately downloaded and listened for the rest of the night!  :oprah: The music video is just amazing, one of my favorites too! :flutter:  :flutter:  :flutter:

  4. One of the last songs I heard from Born to Die, if not the last actually. I admit I took some time to hear in full because I didn't like so much of the production (idk, it just seemed like it was asking for something simpler) and because the beat in the beginning also reminded me of another song (idk why, but this was a turn off at the time. I guess I just wasn't really in the mood  :whatever: ). But I decided to take a listen on the live version after I watched a Lana's best vocals vid and then I just started to like the song (The bridge it's just...  :flutter: ). I normally like both studio and live, but I think this is the only LDR song that I fully prefer the live version. It's def one of her best.  :agree:
