    Shadow, the last one, got a little silly at the end and felt too much like some sort of Indiana Jones/Assassin’s Creed mix, but still had some amazing moments


    I’ve played a lot of Tomb Raider games and I can confidently say I find Rise to be one of the worst games in the franchise- it’s combat was actually worse than the 2013 game(kill attacks were lost etc) and it killed a lot of momentum from the previous game as she didn’t become the “Tomb Raider” as promised. 
     

    Shadow was better for me as it had more emphasis on better location design and puzzling.

     

    my top 4 ranking:

    Tomb Raider(2013)- don’t hate because this game is great as an origin story to me although it lacks in the supernatural. Hated that they destroyed this games origin by reviving the mommy/daddy crap with its sequel. game play is the best in the franchise although it needed more tomb raiding lmao.

     

    Tomb Raider Legend- Good variety of locations, Good tomb raiding- fun combat but limited.

     

    Tomb Raider Underworld- A bit limited but good continuation to legend.

     

    Tomb Raider Chronicles- part of the classics but the easiest one and I liked the idea of individual stories.

    Haven’t played 1-3 in depth enough to give an opinion as of yet- need to get the remastered

    CRASH (still) slaps like crazy, but good ones is one of, if not the least enjoyable song on the album. Not in the sense that it’s a bad song, I’m just painfully indifferent towards it. It barely sounds like a Charli song except for the fact that she sings it. It sounds like Charli doing a Marina impression. I am aware that it was a song that was pitched to her, which I have no problem with, & there’s intention behind her picking it as the lead single for the era… but the song itself is not exciting/convincing to me. 

    New shapes is a FAR more interesting pop song but really gets the shaft from the online fandom I feel and the SNL performance w/Caroline & Chris getting cancelled because covid was the biggest letdown for me of that era.

    Tl;dr: leak new shapes solo demo

    I understand your take but I vastly disagree- this is a vocal style that dates back to super ultra falsetto and it still sounded like her post 17 voice mostly which isn’t my favourite vocal era but hey.

    Not that we are all need to see women at the same level but when Britney and Madonna were at the top- the women were following and taking inspiration but that’s just not happening with Taylor in pop- she’s taking inspo from other women which shouldn’t be the case when she’s now the ringleader as of 2022-24

    ETA: also she's just really, really wrong. Even if the Country Roads cover was the worst cover that ever covered, it doesn't negate the artist's entire body of work. She of all people should realise this.

    ETA2: also saying Taylor "isn't important" is actual brain rot. Even if you despise her and her music, she absolutely IS important, she literally contributes to a country's actual economy when she tours. Important =/= having to like her music or like her.

    I think this is  all being blown out of proportion- Courtney has always been a rude, blatant person- I doubt she puts too much stock in what Courtney says.

     

    I would assume she meant musically she doesn’t like some of the later Lana stuff that has been shown for her new country  direction.

     

    Taylor isn’t important musically considering her fame status- she hasn’t influenced any big sonic changes, hasn’t had any big artists who were majorly influenced and delivered amazing records.
