i think Lana is enjoying leaning back into what things were like before she blew up, by being able to go to Nikki Lane’s much more stripped back / quieter shows kind of reminding her of her times singing in bars and stuff plus I get the vibe that Lana probably feels comfort in having someone as a friend who’s also a performer but isn’t out for fame, just living life etc etc

I’ve figured it out we’re getting 2 albums an album w/ collabs from Nikki lane, weyes blood, asap Rocky, the weeknd, Kali Uchis etc etc and at the same time she’s going to drop her flop country record to show everyone her duality and range as an artist honestly I think this is kind of an iconic concept…..

If she goes the country route on this album I will be taking a hiatus from stanning… is what I WOULD be saying if there was any chance she wasn’t actually going to release UV 2.0 soon!!!!

whewww I’m so glad I listened to this. Love love love love. And I’d be soooo here for something like this with the next Lana record. We need something fiery, TONS of reverb, aggressive, experimental, that doesn’t follow a regular structure, and has more kind of abstract lyrics. I don’t want her to try to tell stories in her song; I want songs that are soundtracks to stories, you know? Honestly the fact that we’re most likely never going to get an album of Lana wailing over electric guitars and smouldering drum beats, singing something with FLAVOUR…..

Taylor fans are really smth else… some of the most basic ass lyrics & production and her stale as fuck chirpy voice… she has like 5 good songs in her discography and none of them r on this album

Other than when we found out she was doing something for the soundtrack of the biggest show in the world & it ended up being a snooze or when we found out she was working with the biggest pop star in the world and it ended up being fucking terrible or when life is beautiful finally leaked and it wasn’t like the trailer and ended up being a let down / forgettable track after years of hype or when she talked about an unreleased compilation album and then never dropped it Or when she said she was doing a covers album and never released it Or when we found out she did an album with TLSP and never released it even though the songs we’ve heard from those sessions have been iconic (thunder, California) or when we found out about a ton of supposedly amazing UV era (ha best) demos & outtakes and hoarders decided to never drop them or when she didn’t do anything at all for the BTD 10th anniversary or when she dropped Rick Knowles but yeah period!

Some people are still trying to disrespect others for their beliefs about covid & the vaccine and girls that just is not alright….! im not an “anti-vaxxer” but the whole pandemic and the rushed vaccines was fucking crazy.. don’t be rolling your eyes at ppl who think it’s some big conspiracy or have some outlandish (to you) beliefs about it bc think of it like this- 3 years ago if someone told you the world was about to face a global pandemic and people would be forced to stay inside their homes etc etc you wouldn’t have believed it! and for what it’s worth I know a *lot* of people who have had lasting side effects from the covid vaccines— and didn’t Pfizer literally release a trove of documents that outlined hundreds of fucking *insane* reported side effects?

Lana wouldn’t be *as* famous as she is without leaks tbh… like they have been a driving force which has helped to build her such a cult following, and keep places like LB so alive

i think having no links is a good option tbh. Most people know where to find them anyway, and this will also protect the site & you from her management / any legal troubles. different strokes for different folks babes, and I totally respect & understand your point of view

girl I know that.. but it’s morally wrong to be listening to leaks period and almost every single member here is guilty of that the way I see it is that there’s two options- music leaks from the theft, or it doesnt and if it doesnt, I’ll be glad that her privacy & hard work has been respected by whoever the thief is, and grateful for that. And if it does, which imo is almost inevitable anyway, I’ll be grateful for some amazing new tracks to listen to. i said what a lot of us are thinking…. Someone had to say it, period. Personally this is very sad but I’m going to continue listening to leaks….
