I'm not sure which fanbase is more insufferable. Lana fans, The Weeknd fans or Arctic Monkeys fans. Every new album cycle, we have to witness their mental breakdowns as they remind us for (for the millionth time) how much they lack taste by refusing to acknowledge UV as Lana’s magnum opus

A lot of Lana’s music the last few years has sounded very “deflated” for lack of a better word, idk how to explain it but I think most of y’all will get what I mean. So I’m really reaaaallyy fucking hoping this next record is more reminiscent of UV/HM era Lana

i think there are a few contemporaries that really scratch that Lana itch too, like Alexandra Savior and Angel Olsen. They’re still different from what Lana does, but some of their work is so satisfying to listen to.
