I think y’all need to accept that she updates us on the album while she’s making it. People don’t like when she’s silent and don’t like that she shares things. If anyone really got their hopes up for either of these dates without a preorder, where have you been? Who have you been stanning all this time? I’m not even like a huge lana defender. She’s does things I don’t like sometimes. But it’s really not that serious. And no real music critic ever discounts her albums because of the release. It’s literally just marketing.

Not saying I actually think it’s coming July 4th, because I don’t, but I honestly feel like her label is okay with her “controversial” album flying under the radar. It kinda sounds like chemtrails was her compromise so she could do this the way she wanted. also, like genuinely, I don’t see how surprise dropping something necessarily makes an album do worse when her “promo” was always bad to begin with. At least if she surprise drops, the surprise itself gets people talking at a time when they can actually take it all in at once. Then again without vinyls her numbers are going to be bad no matter what.
