I guess to me, it seemed like that was notable because she almost never tweets, but she thought this is important enough. She also made that speech on instagram about how getting older has made her want to have faith in her political leaders. She can also write a critique of the way things are now without being whiny. I didn't mean to be argumentative or anything like that because I get what you're saying, but it's hard for me to accept someone saying that she can't pull off something she's never tried. In my experience she has done very little that she hasn't been able to pull off. That being said, I don't particularly want a political album. I'm honestly tired of hearing about it in general, but I wouldn't mind a departure from her normal lyrical content.

I'm not sure it's fair to say that she can't pull it off. She's obviously becoming more politically inclined, and she's always been a thoughtful and intelligent person. Almost everyone is engaging in political discourse right now it's not really fair to say she can't make a statement if she believes it's important enough

I do think we will learn something at Corona Capital-- maybe she will sing a few lines from the title song like she did with Honeymoon? Or at least mention the name of the album?

I love honeymoon (I can't hate anything Lana does) but I think it took me a lot longer to appreciate it because the cover pre-disposed me to feel like it wasn't as good as her other albums. I'm really hoping the visuals for this album are on point because it really sets the tone for the initial impression

I guess the other thing to keep in mind is that there's no way Eclipse can definitively prove that he talked to Lana AND not betray her trust. I think it's one of those things where we could go in circles forever about it, or we could just be happy that we have any news at all.

To be honest, I was wondering about this. It's weird decision making on her part, but maybe she figures if she opens up to him he is more likely to keep her info in confidence?
