    Tbh I'm really not here for old songs being put on the new record. If she were to shop an old demo into a new song the way she did with Methamphetamines/Old Money, I'd be down, but throwing something that's already leaked into a new project would have to be done damn near flawlessly for it to feel comfortable. Totally won't complain if that's how Y2H sees daylight tho.

    I agree. Also, every time she's done it she's changed it from the leak in some way, like adding an edgier vibe to BB or rerecording Yayo. Kinda Outta Luck and YCBTB are definitely already done, because they were both released by her on FB and KOL was used on Gossip Girl, so I don't see that happening.

    Yeahhhh that's like when everyone was saying she was going to release serial killer on Honeymoon. It made more sense for Black Beauty to be on UV because even though it was leaked, it matched the aesthetic of the album. Same with her remaking Yayo for Paradise. I would rather have new material we already have those songs

    I don't feel like "in the same aesthetic" really tells us anything about what it sounds like because she could either be talking specifically about the HM aesthetic or her overall aesthetic which is unique despite the individual takes each album has on it. 

     

    What Eclipse said more implies it will sound like HM, but I also think it's hard to judge without album art, final production, and all of the songs together in order. If you just heard Old Money on its own, it might feel like it came from HM but in context it makes sense with UV. So like it could go either way there's no way of knowing until we know.

    I think she was just trying to respond with something simple and what would make the fan happy. "The record is perfect. Love it love it" to me sounds like she's just talking about what she has now, and even then Interscope will have to decide when to release it if it is done. I'm not expecting anything soon

    I think the timing will all depend on what else is going on in the music world. They don't want a repeat of the honeymoon fiasco where Views came out the same week and put lana at #2. granted, when that will happen I definitely have no idea! You could be right I just would like to believe it's soon because I'm always anxious for new Lana  :brows:

    Based on those DMs with her fan (sorry I don't remember who it was) it sounded like it was done to me, just because she said "it is perfect" rather than "it's coming along perfectly" or "I think it will be perfect." "perfect" kind of indicates that it's exactly how she wants it to be, but then again this is complete speculation. I think there is a chance she could announce and release sooner because her albums tend to get less hype because they're anticipated for so long that they lose their impact when they finally arrive, so it could be a promo tactic.
