That's ecactly why i think Lana and her label need to hurry up with this release, not keeping on holding it back

That's what i was saying in the YAIL thread like the only pushed it back a week but they should really be pushing it forward like it could ruin everything if it leaks early and im shocked it hasn't already

If its really true its only matter of time when it actually leaks. People really buy songs from traders ? Why would anyone spend money on the song they are going to hear soon anyway (unless they want to leak it and make promo) ? I would understand if people liked to buy some rare unreleased tracks but this is just waste of money. 

I wonder how much people have already spent on YAIL that never went back to lana

I would love if there was one track like Pawn Shop Blues on the album, not like necessarily a 2.0 kind of thing, but like one where you can tell she draws upon her love of philosophy in the lyrics, or where she tries to go a little deeper than she normally does on her more radio friendly songs

Also, I feel like this is an unpopular opinion, but I love I went to the store one day it always brings me close to tears when he is like "don't let me die in a hospital I'll save the big one for the last time we make love." Like you can just tell he is so in love with his wife

I'm excited for this record. I can tell it's going to be simply stunning. Hopefully, you guys will love it. But in all honesty y'all got to shut up about 2.0's they'll never be 2.0 for any album ever again. She's an artist she evolves. Now, I'm not calling everybody a whiner. I'm actually surprised it's been this calm. Also, you guys already know there'll never be the perfect album for anybody right? It's impossible for everyone to agree one record is best. Especially, since everybody has different taste. She's worked so long on this record it'll obviously be good. Also, what's wrong with it being slow? I mean HM did not lack passion. Rather it was wrecked with emotion. Anyways, I should probably be quiet know I tend to run my mouth too much sometimes.

I definitely agree-- if there was a 2.0 people would complain about the sameness. I love lana because all of her records tell a unique narrative that expands upon her overall vision for her life, and the things that she finds beautiful or meaningful. This new record won't be the same and maybe it will take time to get used to but I think that's usually because she is ahead of other artists and she isn't concerned with telling the same story as everyone else

Also like at least listen to it? I'm honestly surprised by how much negativity there is on here like why become part of her fanbase if you aren't excited for new music

We know it was pushed back a week but not what the original week was

it was supposed to be a surprise release tomorrow but expect it friday along with the video

It's crazy to me that they're pushing back the release rather than pushing it forward like whatever they're avoiding wouldn't be worse than the whole album leaking months before it's slated for release

Why do people always want material we already have to be on the new album (fine china on LDR5, serial killer on HM) like we already have those tracks we could have something different that would be equally amazing

I would love it if that guitar was on LDR5

But he also heard the title track, which is usually much more representative of the album, and he's said its in the same vein/without heavy strings. Not denying the presence of any strings though, but i think they'll just make much less of an appearance than before

He heard a demo of the title track though, not the final version if I understood him correctly. That was the one he said he was bored by and thats what he also just said is very different and much better by the end

How long did we knew about UV title, cover and date before it was released? I remember this end of January 2014 video where she was saying it'd be out in March, it's the longest we've had without hearing news about new album, right?

Well she IGd the pic with dan in February, and the album came out in June (if I remember correctly). She also told us about honeymoon as a title many months before it was teased, I think that's why this era is frustrating it's hard to tell what the album will be like without the baseline of a title

I don't really care if she needs more time I would just love to hear SOMETHING, whether it be the album name or a tweet confirming somethings to come

I am almost sure that I will be taken out of context again but,

Let's just say that, from what I've heard so far, she's not going for heavy strings this time around.

If we take Young And In Love as an example (I like that song), the demo is heavy on the strings but the final has lots of drums and sound samples.

I can almost call it a lite, stripped back Born To Die sound. Without the huge hip-hop tempo/beats.

Anyway, I'm not the best when it comes to descriptions so don't quote me on this later.

 

It's nothing like Honeymoon. Not like Ultraviolence too.

 

And from what I've heard, the other track I've heard is an ugly demo and the final is much better.

Well, if she doesn't want it, why isn't she releasing her music for free on her soundclound? She clearly want success. Maybe not Taylor Swift sized exposure but you guys are underestimating her will to succeed.

I see what you're saying, but she does have a contract. Look at God Knows I Tried and the HBTB music video, and all the times that people have broken into her house or stolen her cars or whatever, I'm not saying she wont produce good work, or doesn't want to profit from the work, but I could understand if she didn't want to be in the spotlight anymore 

It has been said by eclipse that she hasn't finished the album. Oh yeah, let's use HM as a reference cause that "era" was a masterful example of  a clever and well-prepared album launch.

 

Honeymoon (the single) was not the lead. High By The Beach was and was released 4-5 weeks before the album dropped.

I just think honeymoon is a representation of how things are going... eclipse (and others) have said that LDR5 sounds like honeymoon, I don't know why everyone's expecting a commercial album Lana doesn't even want commercial success or fame. And I said beginning of promo because we've had nothing so far

Allegedly, the album isn't 100 % finished. Lana can not just release the single in hopes it will chart for two months before she releases an album. Her singles rather die a quick death. Why would they push a lead for an album that ain't done yet?

How does anyone know whether or not it's finished? She also waited more than 2 months after teasing HM

Literally Paradise and Ultraviolence

I think using a word once in a catalogue of hundreds of unreleased songs doesn't really make it a lanaism, and when she used paradise nothing had been leaked yet so it hadn't been beaten to death. Even still paradise is one song name, think of how many times roses and beautiful are used they are so completely played out. 

Am I the only one that thinks "Beautiful As Roses" is an one of the worst ideas for a title??   Praying it's fake 

Beautiful as Roses sounds super fake... Lana's always had an aesthetic where those words were used but she always has album titles we could never make up just knowing Lana Buzzwords
