Most people who are ultra supportive of Sky nowadays are ones who started liking her after her debut album or so. Most people who had to wait for her debut album for ~years~ know how annoying it was to support an artist who pretended shit was coming all the time. It's not just annoying, it's exhausting. Saying Sky doesn't owe us music is the same as going to a restaurant and find no food because the cook doesn't "owe" us food. LOL. Obviously she "owes" us something. If it wasn't for the fans who had supported her all the way through hell in 2009/2010/2011/2012, she wouldn't have gotten half of where she is nowadays. If her album was #1 on iTunes the day it came out, it's because of the fans. If we know a lot about her music and her life and her delays, it's because we're fans. She should just keep her mouth shut and release something out of nowhere instead of saying things are coming the next season – when this next season seems to never come. It's just disrespectful and a reason to mock her at this point.

I miss the old days. Not in the sense that I don't like Charli as much, but listening to Heartbreaks and Earthquakes and Super Ultra in 2012 and anticipate her album was an awesome feeling.

I love her so much but what if she takes ten months to come up with a song and we find it shitty? LOL.

I don't trust it when Sky says everything she's posted on SoundCloud was on her free will. Even though some songs there clearly represent what she wanted at some point (like "Broadway Life for Me" and "Red Lips"), I think it's plain to see that back in 2011/2012 she was being super pressured by the label and ended up posting stuff she never really intended to release ("Untouchable" says hi). If Sky wanted to release these songs, they clearly would be out because the label would love them to. The final version of "Untouchable," for example, has been reworked by Bloodshy & Avant and obviously the label would want B&A-produced songs to be released. Unfortunately Sky stuff is super rare and most of what people claim to have, they don't. We have to wait on Sky's good will or maybe "One Way to Heaven" and "Cecil Diamonds."

Fuck, this made me so happy. Hopefully they'll release some sort of special edition, signed or whatever. A bundle with Nightride would make my year.

Alex is one of the sweetest people I've known and super talented, he deserves to be so successful. Sometimes it's hard to believe he does everything by himself, but he does.

What is it that you want? Tinashe has said countless times over the past years that Joyride would have this feel to it, the songs are meant to be more radio-friendly and different from what she's done before. This is the reason why it's been considered a double project, with Joyride having this type of songs and Nightride having "slow R&B" (as the term you used yourself).
