  1. I agree with you. It's not that I hate the song but I haven't managed to make it grow on me after so many months of album listening. Not to mention that the production is bad and I dislike how its volume is higher in some parts and lower in others.
  2. Congrats! I paid over 40 dollars for mine.

Some people say the 320 version that goes around is HQ but it definitely doesn't sound HQ to me. Even the vocals on Daytrotter are much clearer.

I don't think so! I just keep it under Icona Pop because it was included on an EP by them. Am I the only one who likes the Daytrotter version of "Wires" much better than studio?
  5. Holy Jesus, I wish Sky had never posted this. It's the piece of song I've obsessed the most during my whole life, before I formatted my HD in February I had over 1,000 plays of it on iTunes. And well, I know two people who have apparently listened to "Cherry Bomb" and one of them has told me that it's not that. I am skeptical about it because the snippet kind of matches how "Cherry Bomb" sounds like, and has "Cobra" beats but I'm not quite sure of it. There's just one person that surely has listened to "Cherry Bomb" before and no one (no one) has listened to "Cobra."
  6. This was so interesting, I love it! Thanks!
  7. Yeah, I don't think this one is getting shelved too. After all the hype she got with "Everything Is Embarrassing," it would be a loss for the label to let it go. Now that the album is finalized, I guess it only needs to go through the mastering process so it can get to us. If I quite recall, she'd already shot the album cover when it was Wild at Heart/I'm Not Alright, and it was by Hedi Slimane. I wonder if she'll do another cover.

If you love Sims 3, I recommend you to never play Sims 2 then. You'll be frustrated when you find out how better the previous game is.
  9. You've said it all, I completely agree! And it makes me extremely happy that now it really seems like we're getting the album. If this version does not get shelved, I am sure we'll get the songs until the end of the year, which is so exciting.

I never said "we" are pretending? Also, people have mentioned the songs a lot in here (five times at least). If they had never surfaced, I wouldn't even say anything, but they leaked nearly one month ago and people still think it's unreleased. I understand what you mean, though. I'm just mentioning these files leaked. Unless someone managed to get song files, they'll always be MySpace rips anyways. Does it mean there's possibly a promo CD with all the instrumentals on it? They all sound so good judging by the real songs.
  11. 8 seconds of musical orgasm. "The Man Who Sold the World" is just a sucky performance she did before singing "One" during a show. Nothing much, it's not studio or anything.
  12. If the live version is perfect already, do you think we'd be able to handle the awesomeness that the studio is going to be? There's a video of an interview that features some seconds of the studio version, it's from an interview at Coachella for Forever 21.
  13. I honestly plan every once in a while how I'm going to survive when her album is finally released. I wish you could see my face and my reaction every time something about the album is released. When she posted the picture on Instagram about her album being finished, I nearly cried and I felt like running around the house screaming. But I never get tired of her songs so I'm able to enjoy them while the album doesn't see the light of the day. She said recently while walking past Chateau Marmont that the album is being released on August, though. Praying that's true.

I love "Do It Well" and "Dinosaur Sex" and "Photography." And guys, both "Beach Hut in Hawaii" and "Fearless" are already online, someone uploaded them to Sharebeast. I think it's silly to keep pretending it's unreleased when they're already available for download. I won't send the direct link but you guys can use this so it will Google it for you in a way you'll find the songs.
  15. No, I don't hate you, I love you! You're a Sky fan so I already love you. The only thing kind of "fan" that bothers me are the ones that do not accept what the real fans say or want to state their opinion and their information as real. But I appreciate that more people are getting into her now, I'm not the hipster type that says they hate when their favorite artists become mainstream. Even though the wait for her album has been really, really long, I like it because I was able to see Sky evolving as an artist and growing as an adult. I feel so jealous of her, I feel like she's mine.

  17. I've been waiting for it for three whole years, can you feel my drama?

    The Sims

I know! I remember back in Sims 1 era that it was a very simple game, yet so revolutionary. We didn't have much to do in the game but it was still so fun to play and we could spend hours having fun with it. I won't even comment on Sims 2... it's the best game ever, and as much as I want to be wrong, I don't think another generation of the series will ever top it. I used to play Sims 2 hours and hours daily. I've came to the point that I played 12 hours a day when I was on vacation or weekends. Good times, good times.
  19. Yay! Her stuff isn't that hard to find, I guess people just need to know where to look at!
  20. There's the demo and final, yeah. And I think the final leaked in higher quality, I'm not sure. Also, from your list: "My Space" is not by Sky, "Sakura Night" is not a song by her as well (it's the name of a band who has a song called "Sky Ferreira," believe it or not!), "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" is actually called "Happy Dre" (maybe you got it with the latter name).

    The Sims

As difficult it is to me to say it, I have to agree with both of you. I mean, I feel really sad because I have played The Sims for nearly 10 years now, which is over half of my life, and since 2009 it has been a huge downfall for me. I have came to the point that I got expansion and stuff packs just because I have a complete collection and I didn't want to lack anything, but after they arrived I just installed them and didn't even play it for months. I can really relate to what Dia said about the driving situation. One day I was playing and then I accepted my Sim to go to a party at a bar or somewhere like that downtown. The bad part was that my Sim took so long to arrive that when he did, the party was over already (he took nearly four hours to get there, which is four minutes for us). Not only the expansion packs are a huge rip-off, it's clear to all of us (or at least I expect) that now EA Games just does it for the money. Back at the time of Sims 1 and 2, it seemed that the products were made with love (as cheesy as it seems, I believe it's true). The Sims 3 should be over already, the only people that still really love it are the ones that discovered the series after 2009. One of my biggest wishes is that The Sims 4 represents a huge advancement in all the ways, regarding gameplay and expansion packs, similar to what happened when Sims 2 was released. Everyone was truly amazed at how awesome the game was and how advanced it looked when compared to Sims 1.

I think I still love "Nuclear Seasons" the best, it's Charli's masterpiece to me. But "Set Me Free" is a close second.

So you want the series to end?
  24. Even if you'd stolen that, I wouldn't judge you because it's one of the most perfect covers I've ever seen.
