Do you really want four more years of Trump? You need to go out and vote for Biden even if you don’t care for him.

 

Four more years of Trump means he gets to replace RBG on the Supreme Court and that means Roe v Wade is overturned and abortion becomes illegal in most of the red states.

 

Four more years of a Trump will ensure that we destroy this planet for good because he doesn’t believe in climate change.

 

Four more years of Trump means that the rights of LGBTQIA people, non-whites, non-Christians and women will be threatened.

 

Four more years of Trump will put immigrants at risk of deportation.

 

Four more years of Trump means the death of NATO

 

Four more years of Trump means that Russia and China wins.

 

So do you really want to sit this one out and let Trump win again? Get out and vote and vote for Biden because that will get Trump out. This isn’t a marriage. You don’t have to like Biden. Also, no candidate is perfect so not voting because of that is frankly irresponsible.

 

You will not get it exactly the way you want. Getting what you want is for babies, not adults.

 

We need Trump gone, so vote him out!

Neither of them deserve support / votes though. Trump might be bad, but his opponents are trash too.

I agree, TrashMagiq. It's just not it. Takes too long to get going, the outro is too long, the lyrics are tacky, the chorus is not strong. What a disappointment.

Suddenly hyped for this.

It is sad though, because Lana is a really gentle and loving soul. I hope that they can make peace one day if its possible. I just feel that Lana deserves the best.

 

But I so relate to everything Lana writes about. 

Them making peace won't fix the damage done in early childhood. She has to live with that forever. Extensive therapy can help but it will not restore the stable foundaion  that an unconditionally loving parent-child relationship creates in a human.

I'm just gonna say it. She needs to do a live recital of some of the poems from here in The Last Bookstore (in LA). The material deserves it. It is that good.

It would be nice if Lana saw these pages of the thread - I think she would be happy that so many of us appreciate this side of her work.
