Well I want COCC to feel beachy like filly and venice. But I want her to go into a bit of a pop sound after this album. Doin' time and fiily are my absolute jams cause they're so easy to listen to. I'm not saying they're the best, but they're something I can dance to or something that would bring my mood up.
I think you will be disappointed if you want that. It seems like she had a lot of issues in her personal life over the past year, plus her original "controversial" post on instagram was about how she was not allowed to be sad in her music but others were. I think we are in for a really dark and sad album now, none of this forced cheerfulness she put on for the past 2 albums. I expect something more akin to UV.

I never saw an interview where they interview the starlet's managers in this way before, it's a cool angle and I like the story about how Lana met them originally.
I still don't understand how does she think meditation contributes to society at large, though.

I really love her and her art and I think she used to have some element about her that felt a bit luxurious yet campy, but lately I feel like she has lost her taste for imagery. The music videos, the fashion choices.... It all feels like plain water, no taste and honestly I would much rather prefer bad taste over no taste.
Lately? It's been that way since the UV era with very few bursts of visual excellence, like the Love music video

Michelle has been throwing bits and pieces about a new record since few weeks. Yesterday, she shared the supposed tracklist. She also confirmed husband Patrick Carney („The Black Keys“) is one of the producers, again, as he was on her previous LP „Hopeless Romantic“, which changed the world back in 2017. (LOL)

When did this happen?
It was in one of her insta posts around mother's day and also in an interview during the NFR era she said that there are things she wants to reveal about her personal life but she can't yet because of the impact it would have on people connected to her. But she hopes she is able to talk about them in about 10 years.

I am living for how shady Lana is about her mother online - even going as far as not making it a secret that she found a surrogate mother because Patty never gave her what she needed. Now that is empowerment! Patty was probably a horrible mother and the clown came back to bite.

I don't see what's so important about this over romanticized view of the "first album listening experience". Like what does it matter? Good music is good music whether you hear it for the first or the hundredth time, it makes no difference what quality you hear it in first. What does matter is that the curiosity is quenched, you spend months and months waiting for the music, you want to hear what it's like....and guess what? You will get the same answer even if you listen in 64 kbps or 320 kbps. It really does not matter at all, or make a difference. In fact when you hear it in LQ first then in HQ, you get to enjoy it in it's full glory a bit later and still have that (to me meaningless) "first time listening experience" the first time you hear it in the overhyped 320 kbps. People who makes such a big deal about something not being totally HQ baffle me. We have so many of her leaks in LQ only. Does that make us not enjoy the songs? No! We still love them.

I feel like the moment for that has passed by now since her image is not as glamorous as it used to be in the first half of her career. It would have been an experience though, something with the theme of classic americana and a gorgeous high budget commercial of course. An experience to behold forever.

Probably hiding after her recent behavior haha. And it really is the smart thing to do. Anything she says will be twisted in a negative way so certain people on twitter can get faux offended over it, since there is heat on her now.

Lana doesn't have the stamina to attend a Blue Lives Matter rally. do any of you think she actually cares about that in a way that isn't shallow? obviously i can't say anything as a fact. but i can't picture Lana ever finding herself protesting or publicly rallying for any cause on the streets, no matter what type it is.
She is an introvert. It's just not her style and that's okay.

Probably not one of you have lifted a finger to do a thing. You just complain about Lana doing it and how she does it, and be the negative critical haters you are. You make it hard to try to do anything ! You are never satisfied.

Also if you are looking for an album, I highly recommend Anson Seabra's debut album, his music has very strong melodies and it is generally vulnerable so it is the kind of music a Lana fan would enjoy.
