I know this might not be a very popular opinion but i just hope Lana takes her time to make this next album perfect. After all it's just been a year and half since HM was released and I've always felt like that album didn't reach it's right potential because it was done too quickly Lana worked on Born to Die for YEARS, writing new verses, doing endless demos of each song, having the songs produced by different people . That's why it was so cohesive and didn't have those annoying repetitive choruses with just her saying DAAAARRRRRKKKK BLUEEEEEEE

I love the last scene where she points a gun to a copy of Honeymoon and destoys it while halsey is cleaning her beach house in the background

She needs some more 'easy to listen' songs. Halsey's singles never even reached the top 50 in the US yet they all have millions of streams on streaming services and are almost all certified even tho they sold 2 pure copies. If an album contains a hit song, all the other tracks usually reach automatically high numbers in streams. Also a controversial music video isn't bad either

I don't want to turn this into a thread about sales lmao but HM hit 700k in January 2016 and some sales updates accounts have updated it to 900k as of december 2016. Even if it may not be a very precise number it has for sure surpassed 800k

badlands has sold around 850 k-900k in pure copies WW and Honeymoon has sold almost if not the same amount.
