3 or 4 hours from now hopefully we will get the tracklist. If not, then i don't know wtf is going on with this era

i wish i had something amazing going on in my life but sadly i don't, lana's music is all i got.

I want the tracklist to come out on Friday! And i want a re-enactment of what happened in this thread when Lust for Life was released. I want us all to come together and be happy and have something REAL to talk about.

i just don't get it when artists take like years to release another album... makes u question if they actually even enjoy making music

tbh if i was a singer like Lana, making her kind of music i would love being in the studio recording millions of songs. No matter how random they were! And i'd love going on photoshoots and looking all glam and amazing. She's so lucky to get to live out her art and express it to such a wide audience. Not many artists get a chance to do that. If i were Lana i'd be releasing like 3 albums a year <3 just cus (i would've thought) it's super fun to do

I was just thinking... i hope Lust for Life isn't the opening track for the album. One important thing about Lana's albums are the beginning instruments of the first track to kick off the record. It reflects the entire sound of the album. For example, Born to Die opens up with big beautiful orchestral strings (which is a major key sound in the other songs on the record). Paradise opens up with a groaning sound with Ride. Ultraviolence with it's soft, acoustic, depressing guitar strings with Cruel World. And Honeymoon with it's cinematic dark instrumental for Honeymoon. My point it that her song 'Lust for Life' has no punch line. It doesn't really go anywhere particular amazing. There's no climax. It's good but pretty average for Lana. And i don't want it to be the first song on the album cus it's just not good enough to associate with the upcoming sounds. I'm hoping for a really great introduction on this new record. So excited! xo

guys do you think the album is actually out on the 26th? I mean lana hasn't even confirmed it yet. I would've thought if it were the real date she would've said something by now surely. What if it's later?
