Seems like that's a wrap for now! I think I said everything essential that I wanted to say. Some general answers from past pages: Pretty sure that technically nothing is stopping them from releasing Is This Happiness and Flipside on streaming anymore, next time Lana goes on a longer live chat, ask her for that. Speaking of which though, Flipside was never really considered for UV. It was recorded as a rough one day demo at Nightbird and they pretty much just decided to mix it and release like that. Good for us, cool song that would have been lost. Rock Candy Sweet seems to just be a phrase Lana liked, it seems to be originally stemming from a song called Loved You Then Loved You Now she did with Jack, but later also used it in Watercolor Eyes, but one is not a rework of another or anything. Watercolor Eyes is a song that can be very much considered a BB outtake though, but I'm 99% sure it wasn't made yet when Lana announced the former Rock Candy Sweet album.

Is it true that the entire chorus of Your Girl is just sung by Patrick Warren and edited to sound like Lana, cause his acapella was incomplete?

Eclipse impersonated Lana and contacted Nikki Lane for the new music claiming she lost it. She got very excited, she knew it's her chance, but since she only had voice memos Lana sent her on whatsapp she decided to challenge herself and produce mixes of the whole album to send back for reference. Clumsy Nikki accidentally sent them back to real Lana. This is now being released as "Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd" on March 10th.

Yes that's something that I personally do myself while sorting stuff in my library. For example, Lana and Greg would always call MPG just "Money Power Glory", however the Dan demo that leaked was strictly called Money & Power (same with Fuck My Way) so I do have it saved as Money & Power (Demo) to keep it accurate. Keep in my though that sometimes title changes of that sort may just be done to ease communication. I'm sure that every demo/file/mention of Tunnel wasn't called "Did you know that there is a tunnel under ocean blvd v2", they would just do "Tunnel" or "Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard" etc. That doesn't have to mean the song was called that in its version, it was just faster to type it. Nope

The snippet that leaked is some 2018 rework of it that I have no idea about, probably produced by someone else? Apparently the file being sold on that source site was also mostly empty, but in reality its a full Rick produced song from LFL era

Some people use them interchangeably, but to put it simply - mixing happens when the song is being worked on, it's a part of the process when everything for the song is recorded, but you keep polishing it, levelling the sound and such. Mastering is putting very final adjustments to prepare the song for distribution on various media since they all have their own requirements. Mastering is more of a technical thing and only something required for stuff that is being released. That's why I said the UV Patrick demos are poorly mixed. The vocals are too drowned in the instrumental sometimes, some stems sound too out of place, there is lack of cohesion throughout.

Btw about that, this was rather a fact than a personal opinion. It was a scruffy demo made in a day whilst there are many songs that were being worked on for months in 2016 and ended up being unused
