^ Just putting it out there. Y'all should know how she is with working with other people. Remember that the collab. thing was never from Marina's side, it was only Lana who mentioned that she wanted it (& we all know how comfortable Lana is with collabs.)

I was reading one of Marina's interview done before the end of the Electra Heart era & the interviewer asked her about collaborating with other artists in the future after she did Just Desserts with Charli XCX. "Interview: Any more of that from you in the future? Marina :I don't know because I've never actually collaborated with anyone before and probably will never again. I'm secretly not a team player at all—just putting it out there—and I was really nervous. But we would send each other stuff back and forth and it really worked out."

I want the studio version of Starlight, Marina recorded with Liam Howe for The Family Jewels, to leak asap.

What do you think about the ambient direction she's taking MATD4 in?

Did she say something about her next record being folk-inspired? What's everyone on about?

Did they hack her or something? Does this mean there are chances of unreleased songs leaking?

It was very painful for her - personally - because she was very success driven & ambitious at that time & insecure about her position in the industry. She expected Hollywood to be a hit but - to her surprise - it flopped & then the other singles didn't do to well too. The problem was that the indie radio & sites weren't promoting her cause she was too pop & the pop sources weren't promoting her cause she was too indie. Overall it was her own insecurities & perfectionism that made it difficult for her. I read somewhere that she did an awful LOT of takes for the song 'Are You Satisfied' (I don't exactly remember how many but you can hear the perfection & layers in her vocals that era. That's why it's one of my fave.) So for Electra Heart era she worked with big pop producers like Dr. Luke & she felt like they took away her creative control production-wise. She was grateful it helped her build an audience but it was tiring for her to play these characters & she wanted to do something personal, for herself. Electra Heart was supposed to be a side project, you know. Then she recorded FROOT. It's more of a self-help album & it's not very layered or perfected lyrically or production-wise cause she did it with a single producer & had full creative control. I hope that helps!

Truth tea! Now someone needs to convey this to her. Although I think MATD4 will be more like FROOT cause of the self-help articles she has been writing these days.

I am okay with all the songs of the album except - Summer Bummer, Change & Love. These 3 songs are so lame & unbearable.
