I don't say it often but FROOT is Marina's weakest attempt. It has such corny & lame lyrics & boring melodies. I'm afraid her follow-up is also going to be another cringefest attempt at self-help. Gonna go listen to MvS (2007), FJ (2010), EH (2012) or her 2005-2006 GarageBand demos (Give Me the Money!).

Lana said that she wrote Yayo about her friend Rob in one of her concert. Rob had died of drug overdose so people are speculating that Heroin is about him. Personally, I didn't know anything about him before, but now I think that many of her songs from Born To Die might be about him.

It's too long an interview so if someone has listened to it already, please let me know if she discusses something important/new about upcoming plans/projects or is it yet another interview with her talking about the collabs. on LFL & her pseudo-intellectual bullshit?

Yes, it is. Gummo. I've never really watched the whole film (only certain clips) cause it's pretty fucked up & disturbing.. but yeah, I like it's aesthetic & eccentric characters. I collect such movies as a piece of art but can't really bring myself to watch them. BTW, I really liked the bunny boy from the film but I've only kept his pic as my avi cause it goes along with my username.

That's cause although it has many beautiful moments, it lacks in cohesive-ness and identity which is rare in other Lana albums. Even AKA has a stronger persona. It's more like a mixtape than an actual LP.

LFL is BTD's cheap whore & that's the Tea. BTD will be remembered as an iconic one of a kind classic with a cohesive storyline, strong persona & classy visuals while LFL will be remembered as another great pop album of 2017, BTD's schizophrenic sister who can only aspire to touch her legacy. AKA, UV & HM are raw, organic, beautiful & also one-of-a-kind.. but are they as skinny & iconic as their older sis BTD? nah.
