In the wake of the tragedy in Las Vegas on October 1st, Ryan Murphy says that the upcoming AHS Cult episode that features a mass shooting has been re-edited to be less graphic so that the victims are not triggered. It was agreed to recut the episode so much of the violence is implied and occurs off-screen.

According to Lana's producer, the early version of Lust For Life was more intimate & had the Blade Runner soundtrack vibes. It was later re-worked with the Weeknd, was assisted by Max Martin & changes were made in the lyrics accordingly. So the album version sounds more pop & less emotional. The demo version hasn't leaked yet.

if Roanoke plays tribute to 'the Blair Witch Project', Cult plays tribute to 'Rosemary's Baby'. This episode was fucked up! Roanoke Polk family level shit. I'm really disappointed that Meadow is gone! She was a comic relief. No humorous punchlines in Episode 5.

Also, in the family dinner scene when Oz refuses to try the mint ice cream, Ally says something along these lines "Now I know you're my real son". But I'm not 100% sure because people get attached to their non-biological children as well & then this is AHS, so anything can happen.

I've never have had any problems with torrent. Maybe that's cause I never download softwares or games, only movies & shows. I think it's the way that her voice is engineered differently in the chorus than in the verses that makes it 'out of the place' for you. The same thing happens in Beautiful Problems, Beautiful People. Imo it is done intentionally to give it a raw, vintage feeling but some people don't like it.

I remember when 'So Legit' was leaked in 2013 & the classy manner both Gaga & Lana treated the gossip like grown-ass women - they didn't feed the hype or made any profit out of it. I really admire such traits in famous people.

What a video

I remember 5 years ago when her music used to give a feeling of warmth & honesty. Now she's just another plastic pop star who let go of her unique style & vision for commercial success. ^ THIS is the reason people don't want their faves to become famous & mainstream. No offence, but I keep my fingers crossed for Lana these days.

It's just so hard. I try to enjoy the climax beat drop in the chorus & am reminded of the absurd fade-in fade-out transition effect they used in the video at that specific time. It just doesn't fit in & ruins the vision for me. They should have just left it untouched & pure the way it was. Anyway, I'm focusing on different tracks of the album (which I'm glad she didn't ask Rich Lee to make a video of!). I didn't notice I've been skipping WM until this thread popped up on the top. I used to listen to it so often before the vid was released.

I have recently noticed that I've stopped listening to White Mustang since the music video came out. That abortion of a video ruined the song for me. I will never forgive Rich Lee.

Thank you! It makes sense now. Ally is triggered on 11/9 after the election and we know her fears started after 9/11. That mirror image of numbers should be significant.

The teaser to the next episode looks very similar to the teaser of the third episode & the teaser of the fourth episode - clowns breaking in someones house & attacking them while Ally remains in a constant state of paranoia. Everything feels so obvious after the clown identity reveal so I don't know where they'll take it from here but I have my fingers crossed. I can't bear to rewatch the scene where Chaz Bono cuts his hand & the one in the beginning where he's all pink faced, squealing in the voting booth & then revealing his hand. Beverly's scene with Kai in the restaurant was great. I could feel her words when she said how she wanted to sit back & watch the world burn. I could feel her pain & embarrassment in the reporting scenes when she hit the skater dude so I didn't laugh when the 'grab em by the pussy' meme video came up. I felt sad for her. Her story was the highlight & I found Meadow's dialogues very funny. I hope they give her more screen time in the future. I prefer the female characters of AHS to the male characters of AHS & this episode was focused on the male ones & their psychology. So yeah. BTW, why was this episode named 9/11 when there was no reference to the Twin Towers tragedy or anything?? Next episode is named holes (also the name of one of the clowns) so lets see what it's about.

My opinion: I really love Meadow's expressions & dialogue delivery. Beverly Hills was great too! Although I found her news reporting a little creepy, the way she was smiling the whole time while reporting about the beheaded dude. I mean, who does that? lol I think this episode was meant for character development. I really enjoy how they tackle human behaviour & psychology in AHS & especially this season. How did you guys know it was coming on Tuesday this time? (I download the episodes from Torrent so I wasn't informed until someone posted it on Twitter) Where do you guys watch it? Such an interesting read. Love you!
