  1. 3D? But we don't have the studio version of Noir yet. It was a rough demo. Imagine the layering & textures in the studio version! (I think it would have been a great B-Side to Off To The Races bc of the attitude)
  2. Lmao, Lana is far from underrated. With the amount of work she puts in promoting her music - she gets all the attention she deserves. She forgot to promote all the best songs on the album (& you know who they are!) & went on promoting the worst ones (apart from WM). Omg, I logged in just to like your comment about the 'silent group of people who secretly like Stairway to Heaven (Coachella)' because I think it's better than all the 4 generic pop singles she released (apart from White Mustang) to promote LFL - and then I saw you dissing the blandness that is Change & I was like - (Okay before anyone judges my music taste, let me mention - apart from the above 5 songs from LFL I mentioned my dislike for - I think the rest of the 11 songs on the album are pretty magnificent & purrrrfect & I love them. She should have promoted those instead.)
  3. I think Coven was basically Scream Queens with more darkness & less pink. But yeah, if you're comparing in terms of dark humor - yes - this season is comedic gold.
  4. "are you afraid you will die unloved? are you afraid that you will never be penetrated by a man again?" "Yes. All of it. I'm afraid the man I love is turning against me." =/ "He is. I would. You're so fucking irritating." ಠ_ಠ Kai is soo cold! I really felt sorry for her because I've seen people irl who hide their insecurities behind humor & it makes them look annoying. ~they say only the good die young.. that just ain't rightMr Guinea was having too much fun, too much fun tonight~ On a serious note though, I think if they are tryna kill Ozzy's sensitivity to death & violence so that he becomes Kai's successor in the cult.. if my theory about Kai being the sperm donor is true - Ozzy will surely kill someone by the end of the season. lol Next week, Winter still not fired. Why does she still have the job? I can't put a finger on it. (Well maybe cause she is quite handy in the washroom) Emma Robert is playing a news reporter. She'll probably play a bitch... again!
  5. The original is much more raw, aesthetic & original. It leaves you with a feeling of melancholy in the end. Uninvited seemed very commercial to me the way most American remakes are & it lacked that magic. They also made a lot of changes in the storyline to make it digestable for the audience.(spoiler: the ending is different) If you want me to send you the download link of that movie, just let me know.
  6. My all time favorite horror movie..there is something about it.. the aesthetic, sound score, suspense & storyline - just beautiful. They tried to make an American remake which was pure commercial garbage & couldn't even touch the raw magic of the original. It is loosely based on a Japanese folklore - 'a tale of two sisters' but is COMPLETELY different from it. Only the characters name are same & I'd recommend you to read the folklore too (It's interesting although it has no connection to this film). Also, there is a major twists in the end of the film which will keep you thinking for a while!
  7. Great interpretation! I want you to write the script for the next Lana music video insead of those visionless imbeciles. Hell yeah, it would be controversial but it will be so iconic & fresh & Lana-esque (I think Rich Lee should stick to directing mainstream pop stuff & leave the art stuff for other directors)
  8. I really really want a Queen Bee to be revealed in the final episode. Like a mysterious figure who does no actual work but is secretly pulling all the strings. I don't care who it turns our to be - Francis Conroy, Winter Anderson (since she has ulterior motives) or even Ally by the end of the season. I personally find female villains scarier & more iconic than the male ones.
  9. Yeah, it would be heaven. Let's start a cult when we grow up. Lol Yeah he was shot by a pseudo-feminist - Valerie Solanas (who wrote the S.C.U.M Manifesto about the elimination of all men from from Earth). She said after being arrested that Andy was trying to control her life (reminds me of the Kesha/Dr.Luke case!). Andy was injured for life but he didn't die. (I feel like Lena Dunham is the perfect cast for Valerie )
  10. Yeah, it does. I've always wanted to be a part of a cult where everybody lives for some form of art... a sense of community & belonging, you know? Though I doubt they'll go very deep into it. I guess it will only be about the part where Warhol apparently misplaced a script Valerie had written & she was asked to leave The Factory which led her to fire a gun at Warhol.
  11. "Although Andy Warhol wasn't really considered a cult leader on the level of Charles Manson and Jim Jones, American Horror Story will most likely tie him to the cult mentality through his off-kilter art studio, known as The Factory. Warhol established The Factory in New York City in the '60s, and invited numerous young artists, writers, singers, and other creative people to live with him. The Factory became an artistic beacon of the countercultural movement in the '60s, and it was described as a bizarre structure filled with aluminum foil and silver paint. Though it wasn't a cult in the murder-suicide kind of sense that defined Manson and Jones' devoted followers, it's clear that Warhol did exhibit an extraordinary amount of influence over the other artists in The Factory." There is a book by Patti Smith (Just Kids) I read in which she described that when Andy used to enter the bar everybody wanted to talk to him and impress him due to his influence. He had some sort of society where he was the leader.
  12. Quoting Ryan Murphy: "[He] is playing Kai, this cult leader in this small town who we follow as he rises. And the thing that we're doing is we're really examining all different sorts of cults", he says. "And there are many, many famous ones. Throughout the season, Evan Peters is, I think, playing six different cult leaders: Kai, Manson, David Koresh, Andy Warhol. Jim Jones is a big one." Lena Dunham will play Valerie Solanas (the feminist who murdered Andy Warhol) in flashbacks in episode 7. “It’s about female rage and that’s in the country now. Solanas wrote the Scum Manifesto. She told all women to kill men, and it was their only way to rise to power” I hope this helps. Also, in my opinion it would be an interesting concept which will help us get a deeper meaning about cults & maybe we'll get to see some new eccentric characters.
  13. I would love Lily Rabe play Sharon Tate in the Charles Mansion flashback we'll have in the upcoming episode.
  14. Episode Titles : 7x01 - Election Night 7x02 - Don't Be Afraid of the Dark 7x03 - Neighbors from Hell 7x04 - 11/9 7x05 - Holes 7x07 - Valerie Solanas Died for Your Sins: Scumbag 7x06 - Mid-Western Assassin 7x08 - Winter of Our Discontent 7x09 - Drink the Kool-Aid 7x10 - Charles (Manson) in Charge
  15. According to the teasers, hopefully Shelby Ally will stop screaming & whining after episode 3.
  16. Ok so that's a nuclear missile. but why is it in the music video of a song like White Mustang & why does it pop up out of context.. (like all her friends were laughing & partying 2 minutes ago) Has she even read the lyrics of the song? ".. and strong because I chose to push him away"
  17. Glad to know she reads the comments.. but I've heard no one call it sullen or gloomy out of all the things.
  18. You all should be relieved she didn't do a video for Get Free or Cherry. Look what she & Rich Lee did with a 2:45 minute track like White Mustang. If she doesn't have a vision or an concept then she should not do a video just for the sake of it - because Get Free/Cherry/13 Beaches/Heroin deserve better. Special effects & looking cute would not save a video with no rhyme & reason or thought-out concept. Instead it would just ruin the song for us.
  19. Please no more Rich Lee! Let him direct music videos for Black Eyed Peas & Maroon 5. Bring in someone who's into film cinematography & aesthetics (someone like Anthony Mandler & Yoann Lemoine).
  20. Lust For Life era has the worst visuals. There is not a single video from this era that I wanna watch again.. (& don't @ me about it but the Love video reminds me of some HD Plasma Screen TV commercial. It's just about the special effects.) I really like 11 out of 16 tracks on the album. She decided to make a visual for one of those 11 tracks & now I think that it was better left untouched. Some of the songs have so much potential & this era deserved so much better.
