TFJ & EH had the strongest personalies & one-liners because they were dedicated to pop culture & art & were willing to take inspiration from different sources. It is such a sensitive time & issue that people on the internet will believe anybody who shall claim a celebrity raped or molested them without any further clarification or realising there might be a vicious intent to it. When that Timothy girl released her statements along with a picture of Melanie blindfolded, with furry handcuffs "during a sex game they were playing" it was pretty clear to me that this girl is bullshitting us; her statements regarding this issue tell that she could have easily left if she wanted to. That day I had arguments with a certain members here so I stopped participating in this thread because it left a bad taste in my mouth BUT... ... Regardless of the media trial & what people might post or spread on Twitter (...and believe me they will do it throughout her career), it doesn't mean her albums won't sell if she's an unique artist. Take Eminem for example or even XXXtenacion (who was OPENLY home of obic & is widely hated), their album sales contradict their public image. She should hire a technical team for taking the pirated downloads of her LP off the internet (like Rihanna & all do) & release it (or an EP) to get a better budget for her film if she's struggling with it. Ryan would never do something heavy on special effects. Even Apocalypse or Cult were nothing like we imagined. If he does aliens, it will be something we'd least expect & would be centred around the "people" & the psychology of it all, rather than special effects & creatures. The space stuff might also be a throw-off but I hope it isn't. I want a theatrical period piece with serious actors. A female centric season set in a Brothel would be great. Ryan said he has something "fun" planned for season 9 & he is going to discuss it with the actors in a lunch he's going to.

The ONLY artists I want Lana to collaborate with are Dan Heath, Tim Larcombe & Emile Hayne. Jack Antanoff & Marina & all the other rappers & vocalists can suck a fuck. Neither Marina (Electra Heart, 2012) nor Lana (Born To Die, 2012) are doing similar cinematic music anymore. I wouldn't have said this in 2012, but art for the sake of fan-service will not age well. The only hip-hop artists Lana may collab with are Cocorosie, Eminem & Nicki Minaj (if she's experimental). Actually it's the other way around for me. I loved it when I heard the ballad-ey verses but after hearing that pop synth in the chorus, I don't like it all that much. I bet after Jack adds some beats to it, you'll live it.

Simply because it's not the genre Lana specialises in. The musicians you mentioned were masters of this genre. The songs Lana performed were a good one time listen, nothing extraordinary. For an album, I'd rather have something cohesive & I want her to push something she's good at to another level; switching genre's ain't it.
